Imperialists in Donegal have had their plans to indoctrinate free thinking mexicants via tea, scones and the Imperialist wedding propaganda on TV, crushed by the social media freedom fighters...

A councillor in Londonderry has branded republicans who intimidated a Donegal hotel into cancelling a royal wedding-themed afternoon tea event next Saturday "thugs".

The Inishowen Gateway Hotel in Buncrana had advertised the special event to coincide with the nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle next Saturday.

The hotel had launched a Facebook event to garner interest in the event.

However, yesterday morning staff were inundated with phone calls from republicans angry at the event. And by late afternoon the Facebook event had been taken down.

The royal couple were unavailable for comment but tis highly likely they will now scrap the whole thing and elope to Gretna Green white and gold, via Vegas and killybegs...

Tea and scones and watching yer wan marry another wan on the telly in Donegal. Well I'm sold. Seriously talk about a boring day, perhaps the angry republicans were in fact stone silent walls of indifferent lack of interest.

Very insensitive of the hotel, some people are just not living in the real world.

Anyway they got a little lesson, which is good thing.

Damn, I've been rumbled.

My mother probably would go to something like that. She'd spend the whole time bitching about everything though.
my dad would criticize the scones, the time it took to get there and the price of everything, then get bored and say he wants to go home.

Before bringing up the topic of imperialist collaborators, we need to state clearly....

....which imperial racket we are talking about, this time.

Interesting if odd, reality can often be like that.

In 1800 the Orange Order was set up to prevent the union taking place because they wanted to retain the Ascendancy parliament in Dublin.

The proto-nationalists were all for the Union (so they were the original unionists :) ) because it meant the ascendancy parliament they hated was being dismantled.

Is that why special dispensation is given for an annual Orange march in Donegal, but not for this bit of nonsense?

Republican wacism - just because the bride is a tad dusky .....

I wonder if the hotel will be doing anything for the visit of the Pope/Auntie-Pope to Ireland?

Tea and scones is where they went wrong....

A free jug of Buckie to every pre-booked table of six and they would of been sucking diesel...
