What with this and the attack on Harney, the paint business must be booming in the recession!

I wonder will there be any copycat attacks around the country?
Let's hope not. We live in a democracy. If you want FF out; vote them out. Social disorder and unrest will not achieve this end.

The perpetrator wrote the word 'tratiors' across the front of the office.

It says more for the individual that he/she can't spell than it does for Dempsey. Idiots.

Was he in it at the time?

Did he get hit with any projectiles?

Was an ambulance called.

If not, oh well, a good effort anyway.

What was the name of that protest in Boston that had social disorder and unrest and kickstarted the birth of a new Nation?

(I loved the idea of the original thread title, for some reason the image of Koreans attacking Meath came into my head)

Any guesses at the perpetrators? It's a laugh, really (in a miserable way) to think that it could actually have been FFers from one of the other camps that the gang is splitting into.

Fighting the IMF scum?? Strange logic. It is the FF scum that led them here. They were called in by our own, they didn't just come barging through the door. From what I've heard on this site and other sources, they dont do that. They wait to be invited. There may be a vampiric parallel there but that would be reading too much into it.

No one can condone attacks and criminal damage to offices. If we go down that road where does it stop, private homes next ?

"If we can't do that, then the assistance isn't there", Mr Dempsey said.

Now - to me, that's simply horseshít.
The EU/IMF are bailing out Ireland in order to protect the French, German, and British banks. No conditionality has been set, and while we must impose austerity (and we will), doing it with a Fianna Fail led government on December 7th is not absolutely imperative. They will not withhold the money because our democracy needs to exercise itself. That is quite simply ridiculous, and Mr Dempsey should be ashamed of himself.

It is truly shocking, an absolute abdication of leadership.
Amen on that. in fact, the ECB/IMF are showing their cards in insisting that there be political consensus on the budget.

We are screwed, and default is always an option which may not be a whole lot worse than the IMF.

However, we have the ability to give the EU a bad dose of "why did you buy Anglo bonds in the first place".

They should reflect on that...

The gov are just afraid that if they did that they would not be able afford their inflated packages. They need 18bn a year to keep the status quo.

Seanie fitz and all the bankers must be having a right laugh at all of this. The Gobs***** politicians taking all the flack.
Dempsey and the lot of them were duped by knackers and those same bankers are sailing away.
If they were in jail and if there was a will they would be, the FFrs might not be in quite the same position. Former Anglo lads sending texts around now having a right laugh.

Good point, well made.

The least the vandal could do was to learn how to spell the feckin word.

The constituency office of Noel Dempsey ( the one in Trim, as Mr Dempsey has a few) was attacked last night.

Windows were smashed and the work "traitors" was sprayed on the building.

Must be getting hot in the FF kitchen.
The bill for the repair work for this will probably be paid for directly by the tax-payer. I am sure that really help us all...

FF were complicit not duped - wake up. In fact they were worse. They were elected to run the country. They (bankers, developers and FF) all socialized together, all profited from the 'boom' and the greed - kept tax loopholes open so ultra rich developers didn't have to pay tax, some FFers even were involved in advising people to set up off shore accounts to avoid tax, some went to jail some lied and said they got digouts from 'friends' and won money on the horses etc. etc. and now everyone in the entire country will have to face the consequences.
