Intelligence chief is now telling it as it was and that collusion was a myth propagated by "Provo's in suits", no guesses about who he could be referring too.

Secret war against IRA:

Sure in reference to his new book, everyone knew that it was the British pound that defeated the RA.

Agents were expendable

If they ended up in a ditch

- then so be it

No the SAS were not involved in that sort of thing

- they were hit men and undercover operatives

The modern SAS has now returned to full time combat training and undercover operations

The Special Reconnaissance Regiment (SRR) now do most of the recce work

As for Collusion between the Crown Forces and the Loyalist Terror gangs

- who in their right mind thinks that did not happen?

Well obviously the "intelligence expert" who wrote the book that article was about, me and Theresa Villiers and about 700,000 of the PUL population in Ulster.

Ah, library time, is it?

Collusion? Try this - just released a month ago.

This meticulously researched book uses previously secret official documents to explore the tangled web of relationships between the top echelons of the British establishment, including Cabinet ministers, senior civil servants, police/military officers and the intelligence services with loyalist paramilitaries of the UDA and the UVF throughout the 1970s and early 1980s in Northern Ireland.
Straight from the horse's mouth. A great read, by the way.

The truth is coming.

And the content of the book?

No, let me guess - you are Gregory Campbell and you don't need to read or see things before Unionist fury begins?

And I take it you read the content of the book in the article that you referred to.
