EXCLUSIVE: Lawmakers to Request Probe of $418M Arms Sale to Kenya on Obama's Last Day

Congress hurdle for $418m Kenya-US arms deal - News

Contract given to a company who doesn't actually make the aircraft involved and priced massively above the company who actually do.

The $418 M deal pales into insignificance when one sees that Kenya over last 5 years has only spent £187 M on arms (circa $38 M a year). (Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI))

Clearly Obama is looking after his "Legacy"

Kenyans starting to ask why they being required to pay $200 million more than buying it from the company who actually do it for a living.

Guess they just don't realise that Obama needs to fund Michelle's senate campaign and his Library.

He "gifted" 40 BILLION dollars to the Israeli military, 6 months before leaving.
500 million to train Islamic Jihadists in Jordan.
Thinks "The Wall" is bad value for money at circa 18 billion.

He committed to 38 BILLION, over 10 years.......as against the 30 BILLION committed in 2007 until 2018....

Only this time, petitions for further funding to congress cannot be entertained.

I'm sure Donald will overturn it all.

Gift or sale? Sounds like the US is making profit on the deal. Some gift.

The contract is for more than the supply of the planes. Weapons, munitions, training and ongoing maintenance are part of the contract.

Isn't Kenya fighting "radical Islamic terrorism" too, in its own country and in Somalia?

Al-Shabab fighters attack Kenya military base in Somalia - BBC News

If the money has to be approved by Congress, why is the then-President to blame for fighting Islamic terrorism on his own?

Is Kenya to be left defenceless to please some stupid bozos who do not understand the strategic situation?

This is just shyte to make the current corrupt President look halfway good.

One of those sources is the discredited fake news site Breitbart and the other triggered a threat detected warning - I think we can safely file this because it probably has very little resemblance to reality.

The first link is almost four years old for a start and makes absolutely no mention of '40 billion dollars', and the second link is two years old & says a 500 million training program has been stopped - with no mention of 'Jihadists'.

The ambassadors press release simply mentions exploring an aircraft deal with the Kenyan air force.

None of them refer to a recent 'parting shot' from Obama. This is why the likes of you & 'Truth' have no credibility - you cite fake news cites & lie about & distort the contents from genuine sources - laughable effort.
