Good to see. It has been far too long coming.

O'Cuiv probably completed 2 sentences during the 2 hours.

With all his stuttering and eh eh ah ah eh eh, plus the deserved heckles he would not have said much.

Fair dues to him for braving the meeting. No matter what one thinks of the suitability of O Cuiv for high office, and I don't think a whole lot myself, he doesn't strike me as someone in politics to line his own pockets, unlike our esteemed former Taoiseach

But yes, I do think the anger is definitely building. It is only the Irish people will harry these shysters from office, not our heretofore useless Opposition

It's time to strike back and demand an election now.

O'Cuimhbhgh may not be in politics to line his pockets, but he was content to sit idly by while Bertie was telling whoppers to Mahon, so he's every bit as morally corrupt as the rest of them.

During his time as Minister for promoting the Irish Language he scattered taxpayers' funds like snuff at a wake to every hair-brained Gaeltacht job-creation scheme that went across his desk, Furthermore, the long-term costs of his fanatical Official Languages Act will be a massive drain on the exchequer.

Delighted to hear it. They should be afraid to be seen in public until they have sought a mandate (rather unlikely to get it mind) from the Irish people.

Would it be possible for someone to put up a list of public meetings that members of the cabinet are planning to attend?

I was at an event recently where half the people in the room walked out as a minister came in to give a few words. It was not a political thing, I never saw anything like that before in this country. Nobody said or shouted anything, just walked out. The anger is real.

Canvassing should be very interesting this year - remember last time FF had an RTE/FF Press cameraman following them on the election trail?

O Caoimh waffled on about the greast way the country was run under Bertie, and he wasknown as minister with chequebook and deóntaisí. His policy on languagew act resulted in Clare Co Co having to spend E35, 000. 00 on translating the co development plan into Irish, and not one persought a copy of the as Gaeilge version.

That doesn't actually mean anything does it?

And if you have so little faith in the opposition, what good do you think an election would do?
The point is that it will show those in power that if you screw us over, we (the electorate) will destroy you. The Government should be in fear of the people, perhaps they will think twice about helping our their buddies.

FF is starting to organise its own body guard unit. The National Guard, or something like that they are calling it -with blueish shirts and berrets.

I dont think O Cuiv would be that bothered by Mick Barry and a few socialist party yahoos. He's made of much sterner stuff than that.

Gaelgoir fascist he is. Deserves to be shouted out.
Trying to destroy the heritage of the country that doesn't gel with his narrow, blinkered vision. What else would you expect from the spawn of De Valera?

Fair dues to you,Cork people. It's not for nothing you are known as The Rebels.

On the other hand, free speech is a basic tenet in a deomocracy. The day it dies is the moment we become a totalitarian state.

By all means let Dev Beag know a few home truths about the Ireland he and his Golden Circle friends have created (poisoned?).

Incidentally, wasn't O Caoimhbeg the politician who sought to mis-name Dingle and give it an incorrect Irish language name instead of its proper name, Daingean Ui Chuis ?

The arrogance (and lack of humility) of these excretins knows no bounds. Roll on the General Election !
