Proving that he has a neck like Donald Trump's bollocks, the Rat O'Dea turned up at a demo outside Limerick University Hospital protesting at the overcrowding.

https://www.rte.ie/news/2017/0114/844961-hospital-protest-limerick/

This is the same rodent who was Limerick's leading political representative almost continuously from 1992 to 2011. Not a single solitary investment was made in the hospital during the time he had the clout to deliver. In fact, the only decisions to invest in Limerick hospital facilities came during the Rainbow Coalition and since 2011 when Baldy Noonan, for all his faults, showed that he could at least bring Limerick's concerns to Cabinet.

Once again, O'Dea is demonstrating the only quality he has ever shown in his thirty-five years representing Limerick, an abject gutlessness to stand up for the interests of the constituency as a whole.

Thanks for posting that.
The hypocrisy of this individual is simply staggering.
How on earth - how is it possible - that anybody votes for this total fraudster ?

I just do not get it.

JAYSUS its almost as bad as Sinn Fein giving out about lawlessness and murder when for years they supported bombing of innocent people, killing gardai, robbing banks, taking civilians from their homes and shooting them and working hand in hand with the drug barons.

Why bring Sinn Féin into a thread about Dilly O'Wea?

That's a rhetorical question by the way... I know, or at least can guess - pretty accurately I'd say, the answer.

FF TDs have been turning up to hospital protests all over the country - having a neck like a jockey's bollix isn't unique to O'Dea.

WOD routinely tops the poll in Linerick apart from 2011.
Sadly the voters in Limerick continue to give this brassneck votes by the lorry-load,between 2011 and 2016 his vote increased by over 11% and he got almost 28% of the vote there. He was over 6,000 votes ahead of his nearest rivalin a constituency where the quota was around 9,000.

The people of Limerick have short memories. People like him turning up at such marches should be questioned.

I see in a letter to the Limerick Post this week that the erstwhile socialist Dr (no less) Tadhg Moloney seems to be considering a visit to the goldmine as he tells us that he has "sought legal advice" and will "no longer engage with Mr Michael McLoughlin due to his unfounded and defamatory allegations."
Differences of opinion have emerged between Mc Loughlin and Moloney about the latters use of a megaphone and alleged heckling at the hospital protest referred to here.

Maybe that well known political pundit TAWDY might enlighten us before the case? gets into the goldmines.

Willie's vote is based on getting wasters as many social welfare handouts as it is possible to get

Wee Willie, the Lion in Limerick and the mouse in Dublin.
His vote is based on walking everywhere while in Limerick and going to every funeral.
He knows the social welfare code inside out and exploits it to the absolute maximum for the wasters who have never worked a day in their life, and have families to maximize the children's allowance. This ensures successive generations of wasters that we the taxpayers of Ireland have to support.
But Willie does not care so long as he gets their votes.

People vote for him because he serves them, simple as! It is the same as any elected rep.
