The European Court of Human Rights has dismissed a claim by men found liable for the Omagh bomb that the civil court action against them was unfair. In June 2009, Liam Campbell was found liable, along with Real IRA leader Michael McKevitt, for the atrocity....

Omagh bombing: European court dismisses real IRA men's claim - BBC News

So why should it take 7 years to get a decision from the ECHR? 29 people died in an atrocity that (almost) everyone criticised. 7 years allows a defendant to sell or give away all their assets.

Fair or unfair? If you boast about committing an atrocity then you shouldn't be surprised if the rest of us want the victims compensated.

So far as I know, the process of appealing to the ECHR is tortuously slow in any event, but in the case the plaintiffs will surely have been making their submissions at the last minute for each stage of the process in order to spin it out.

None of the defendants had any assets even before the appeal.

The real culprits of what happened can be found in Whitehall.

The civil case taken by the victims of the Omagh bombing was financed by the UK State.

That same State refused to finance a civil case which I wanted to take against the Ulster Unionist Party and the Presbyterian Church - even though there is direct written evidence to confirm the guilt of these two proposed defendants. It would appear that the UK State finances civil cases only where the defendants are Catholics.

Why do you claim that? Who do you claim placed this bomb in Omagh?

An MI5/FBI agent picked the target and videotaped the street weeks prior.
A Garda agent stole the car.
An MI5 agent made the bomb.
The British had a GPS on the car and were tracking it live on the road to Omagh.......but then said they couldnt find it after the bomb warnings (despite it having a tracking device with 3 metres accuracy, being parked illegally and being probably the only car in the street).

Several of the families also believe the State engineered the disaster and want a public inquiry.
Th 32 CSM have also called for a public, independent inquiry.

So "Dissident Republicans" played no part in the bombing?

Also Francis Mackey, Bernadette Sands were finding much of the IRA that had remained loyal to Adams receptive to their message as the summer of 98 went on and this wasn't meant to be part of the script.

So Liam Campbell and Michael McKevitt are British agents. Right so.
Who knows, do you?

Interesting question is what were the British up to, did they want to stop the bombing or let it go ahead and what were their motives?

There were at least 3 agents involved in the targetting and execution of the plan.
The crux is this, and this was the main point at the time......police were unable to save lives because they were unaware of the location of the car.
Since then, we have discovered that not only was the car provided by a Garda agent and they had weeks notice, thy had a satellite tracking device on the car with 3 metres accuracy AND were listening and tracking the phones of the guys in the car in a livestream to GCHQ in Chelthenham.
The families have asked GCHQ for the release of this evidence and the recordings but they REFUSE.

The real story will come out in 20 years or so....just like the Dublin bombings and people will say "how shocking! I had no idea".

So it's all about religion then?
On those facts the only case being made out is in respect of your committal to a Lunatic Asylum.

If in doubt,it must be GCHQ?
