I'd been wondering where FG's one was. But nothing issued yet. Enda did speak to the traditional (old) media earlier. But nothing else.

Yeah plenty of points to attack and soundbytes to make unless they are contemplating support....

The responses in fairness are going to be vague and vacuous. When was it realeased? Surely it will take a good 24 hours to go through and digest it. It is 140 pages after all.

Labour response.

"Blah blah yakity yakity".
Well if the instant media/news industry didn't demand some kind of instant response from politicians, you might get some reasoned soundbites by allowing them time to digest the 140 page report.

If you dont like the yakiti yak, you only have yourself to blame.

And I'd say that regardless of which party was throwing out vague and vacuous commentary. They are only doing what you demand.

Good man yourself , nothing like a little lofty intellectualism to inform this debate.
Seems a fairly accurate summation, after hearing Joan Burton twice this afternoon, she talked for extended periods whilst saying absolutely nothing

(except to try and claim that for complex legal reasons she'd be unable to alter the min wage changes )

Would have been great if Cowen, Ahern and Lenihan had even done one.

After today, Brian Cowen, (Ireland's PM) remains the highest-paid country leader in Europe and he is cutting welfare and the minimum wage. Go figure!
