Ir was today, May 13, and for Paddy Power. And almost entirely meaningless.

Very disappointing.

I took part in this. Red C rang me last weekend.

Yet, they STILL felt the need to contact over 1000 other people????

Cheeky bastards.

Actually, this part of the poll is somewhat interesting:

Poll: 52% do not have confidence in Govt - RTÉ News

An amazing 48% have confidence in the current government.
45% think it will last less than a year.
62% of SF voters believe it will last less than a year.
31% of FG voters believe it will last less than a year.

A kind of mild form of confirmation bias at work?

Or cognitive dissonance perhaps?

If I were an SF voter, I think I'd want this government to go full term. For the hell of it.
In Canadian Ice Hockey, players are allowed to beat the shíte out of each other so long as they only do it with one free hand while holding on to the other player. Were this the case with the new gov and FF, that would be a very suitable arrangement for us :)

But for the moment.....it's too early to tell, we'll have a better picture after the summer recess and a month or two in. It's still anyone's guess what will crystallize out of the current setup.
