Absolutely shocked when I just heard it on the radio. He was no age.

The best thing I can say about Paidi is, as a Dubs supporter, he broke my heart many a time. A true legend of GAA. RIP .

The word legend is used far too loosely in sport, but it certainly applied to Páidí. Condolences to his loved ones.

Shocking news...Paidi O Se and the great Kerry team are etched in the minds of so many people who grew up during the 70's and 80's...hard to believe that a man who was as tough as leather has passed away at such a young age....thats 3 of the great kerry team deceased...Tim Kenelly and John Egan and now Paidi..RIP Paidi..a massive funeral in west kerry this week..sad times

Heard Pat Spillane on RTE paying great tribute to him. Described him as a " rogue in best sense of word " twice. I wonder does buring oneself out in hard training have an effect later ? RIP.
