Rioting in the suburbs of Paris continued for the fifth night running - with no sign of things settling down. An extreme case of police-brutality was the initial trigger.

Paris riots: Violence erupts on fifth night of unrest after young black man 'beaten and raped by police officers'

Rioters burned dozens of cars and set fire to a nursery school in the poor northern suburbs of Paris in the latest night of unrest sparked by the arrest of a young black man by officers who have since been charged with  beating and raping him.
In 2005 such rioting spread to poor areas of cities the length and breadth of France and led to the imposition of a state of emergency. No need for such drastic measures to be adopted this time - for France has lived with a state of emergency for the past fifteen months. If the current round of rioting spreads to other cities - and who would bet against it - could increased polarisation have an effect on presidential election due in May? FN candidate Marine Le Pen has pledged to deal with 5000 gangsters in the banlieux - it's reasonable to assume she wasn't thinking of rapists in the police!

And yet the alleged 'victim' has called for calm....

This will do nothing

- but increase the chance of a FN Presidential Victory this year....

However I think these thugs

- are too Dumb too realise this....

Those behind them don't- they know that NATO, Le Grande Orient and Brussels would never accept a Front National government. They are pushing for civil war.

NATO and the rest can jump off a bridge and it won't make any difference, if the French Nation votes for the FN they will just have to suck it up, end of. The EU project is being rejected by everyday folk all across the continent, folk just don't want political union and interference in the National interests, this is an EU self inflicted wound. The people aren't having it anymore but still the penny does not seem to be dropping with the dumb asses in Brussels, but it will soon.

And your point is?
Your attitude in your post calling him an alleged "victim".

"One officer was charged last weekend with rape, while three others were charged with assault during the arrest in a gritty area of Aulnay-sous-Bois last Thursday evening.

The man suffered severe anal injuries which required surgery and was also treated for damage to the head and face in hospital. The severity of his injuries led a doctor to declare him unfit to work for 60 days."

I was in Grenoble at the time - instructing les jeunes in the art of petrol-bombing.
Petrol-bombing? Is that then you shove in your head in just as someone is about take a picture of a light hydrocarbon fuel oil that is obtained by distilling petroleum?

Oh no...never mind.

The Grenoble bit is true - the rest is fantasy.

He appears to be making very serious allegations of sexual crimes having been committed by a member of the police force.

And some people on here are saying that Ian Bailey should hand himself over to those boyos ...

If she wasn't thinking of rapists in the police, she should have been.

France has enough difficulties never mind the police doing stupid things to make situations worse. But then police "services" across the world are becoming less and less about normal policing and more and more about becoming paramilitary "forces". Usually unionised paramilitary forces.
