Pat Rabbitte declared on the VB show tonight for a moment at least he was no longer talking as a Labour representative and then declared that did not want to see the demise of the FF Govt this week.

It just goes to show that not everybody wants Christmas to come early, especially if it means they get to pass the Budget and then lose the opportunity to criticise it.

The rabbit is keeping his cards close to his chest he is not sure of the outcome of an election. He is only thinking of his last chance to become a Minister or second in command.
The selfish B!!!!!d.

You must have missed the show or the following posting (just two postings above):

Desperate Dan, do you know Pat Rabbit personally because you are spot on with what you say about him?

Hard here to separate those who don't understand the situation from those who wish to capitalise on the situation for anti-Labour purposes.

Can't stand the b'stards myself but hey, Dan, you really are getting desparate!

Can't you see it's just plain over?

Why did he say that? Is it possible to trust an Irish person with a decision that carries ramifications.

In any event, I though Pat Rabbitte shouldn't have been so insensitive at a time like this. Playing polics is definitely not what is needed right now.

I expect someone in Lab or FG to offer to support the budget in return for a January election. Rabbitte and some in FG have said the budget MUST pass. But they'll extract a price for it.

Burton was already getting her 'our hands are tied' shyte in early last night. Labour and their Fine Gael masters will gut and savage the less well off to protect their pals. Lost all respect for Burton last night.

So she has -and P Rabbitte gave us plenty of 'the straight jacket will be on us' when we take over' -but that was lost in his attacked Pat Carey. Gilmore told Turbidy that they will not reverse FF cuts (even though they can) but explained that as a Deal is a Deal ************************************************e.

What about leadership -what about implementing fairer policies on the weak -the opposite (labour Policies) to Fianna fails/Fine gaels?

How can they shout about FF lies and weisel words when they are at it before they even get their bums on the hot seats!
