Noticed many of them all being driven into Farmleigh tonight.

Luigi,

Do we not run the risk of being outed as anarchists with this sort of thing. Even Padraig Flynn with the three houses had to live somewhere.

Furthermore you are going to have to apply these same standards to the new government, and logically then, these metaphorical houses you're building, will be divided against themselves and can only fall into a quagmire of hypocritical filth.

We had the same thing two weeks ago with people giving out about Minister Calleary flying home to Knock from government business when the truth is that Taoiseach Kenny will have to do the same thing to the same airport in the same constituency in the near future.

Are we not demeaning this forum and the name of politics in general with this carry on you're in to?

This is the type of vehicle Sinn Fein are most interested in seeing the insides of.

Why would anyone with a state car need to fly to Mayo? Tonight's news showed what's wrong with this crowd - none of them thought of car pooling going to a meeting to discuss cutbacks at Farmleigh - why not meet in Merrion Street?

Why do these clowns need state cars, do they not have their own? Oh wait, it wouldn't be "seemly". We'd be the laughing stock of wherever (like we're not already).

As for flying I'd have thought a hotair ballon would be the obvious choice.

Again why can't these pampered buffoons not fly with mere mortals? Oh yes, their time is so precious.

There's only one group demeaning around here and it ain't the posters on this forum.

Small matter of a little water between Brussels and Ireland. Chitty chitty bang bang was being used by Ivor to get to west Cork that day.

Privacy, piss-up in Biffo's gaff - the Steward's House, with sweary Mary in the role as the hostess with the mostest, there will be no interview in the morning though.

See what I mean, more of the same.

The fact that you have "hotair" (sic) in your lexicon LongShanks, says a lot to this poster!

It truly is disgusting to watch.

Would it not have sent FAR BETTER signals if they had this meet in Government Buildings, kept it low key on the bling side. AND Car pooled ..

Now we have cost of Farmleigh, the cost of security and the cost of them all with individual gas guzzlers and drivers arriving / leaving .. And then their is the Carbon foot print!

"Let them eat Cake" seems to be still the loudest utterance from this bunch of out of touch "politicians".

Seriously, why don't they use their own cars and fly like ordinary mortals.

I don't know what using hotair means to you but to me it means that most of them bluster and faff about and don't answer real questions. I don't think I'm alone in thinking that about politicians.
