It did turn bloody, there was blood. Look at two of the pictures above ........
Yeah I know that. It turned into a lot of things. If you wanted to be neutral you could of just kept the title without the added bloody part.

I get enough biased news headlines from the other media sources. It would be nice if things remained neutral and factual on Pie and didn't resort to "sound bites" like all the other sites.

It is a disgrace that students were treated in this manner, remember they are our brothers, sisters, sons and daughters that were at that protest. No need whatsoever for this type of reaction by the Gardi, none at all.

Eh - I think the USI are taking the view that it was a small group of protestors that caused the problem, that they are not representative of the USI and that the USI don't condone their actions. Looks like the USI event was hijacked by a group of socialist workers party activists.

Moderators, why is this multiple threading being tolerated? There are threads already on this, as a Moderator has pointed out earlier in the day. Cynics might question whether there is one law for the plebs and no law at all for the siteowner>

You should change the thread title to: "Photos from today's protest which turned bloody corners".

How on earth does an unsubstantiated comment like that attempt to justify the extreme force used against students today?
