As Emmanuel Macron seems to have emerged as a significant contender on the French political landscape, I would appreciate explanation of his views. I don't understand French so I'm very limited in online sources and would hope people here who do understand French could enlighten me.

I am especially interested in his foreign policy, notably, his views on the "intervention" in Libya that France to a large degree led. But the thread is for all of his views/programme.

Macron definitely likes the older people. :D

He has a thing for them, call it a fondness.

He is forveasing restrictions on business, getting rid of the 35 hour working week and spending more on the education of immigrants. A French Tony Blair I think.

Is he in favour of mass immigration? I also believe he is very pro EU.

He has promised a safe space for engineers and technical specialists from the US who cannot handle their current anguish.

No mention of the various French born technical specialists who left French taxation, regulation, etc. to set up enterprises in London, Geneva, Luxembourg, etc.
