Waters is intelligent, articulate and photogenic .
Excellent choice for Irish President.
I wouldn't have called him photogenic. Would he look good out on the rugby pitch for the national anthem.

Is he still crying over some dead coke head 'model'? The one who hung about with Brendan ''ballsy'' O'Connor?

So you'd vote for anybody but Michael D. Do you think then that Waters would have a good chance? How would you like it if Bertie ran? He's a superb politician even if many are cross with him.
I'd vote for Eva Braun , Ghengis Khan and vlad the impaler before Id vote for MDH

If given the vote , no matter how repulsive I find my candidate , the opportunity to kick a public service millionaire of no notable achievement like MDH and the rest of that neo liberal right wing "socialists' brigade cheer lead from the IT , in the nuts ,(politically speaking) would be to much of an opportunity to forgo

He would be playing the insurgent candidate card, don't think it would work though not enough riding on it to get people interested. That said I'm very disappointed in Higgins won't be voting for him again the unless the only opposition is the likes of Aengus Ó Snodaigh as some in SF were floating in which case I would vote for Higgen or a bag of p!ss if I had to.

Even if (and it's a big if) John Waters won the presidency he does know that what he can do as president is very limited and its a mostly cerminonial job!!

A sound reason to give Waters a first preference .
Go for it.

If we must have a journalist why not Kevin Myers - a man who has honestly stated his beliefs on social issues in spite of attempts by the liberal elite to silence him?

It is time for Ireland to have it's own anti media & political elite Brexit type revolt. Even though only a profile of an office it would send a strong signal. Anybody winning that RTE or the IT don't like would be fun to see in terms of reaction.

It's the ladies turn again. Somebody like Pantibliss would be an ideal President. Far more articulate than that waffler Waters.

I can see the posters now:

Panti for President.

Waters has my guaranteed vote if he runs. He's exactly what we need in this country as a counterweight to the prevailing globalist, libtard, feminazi consensus.

Viva Waters.
