The fear in the ABFF is palpable. Cowen on the rampage is terrifying the people who see themselves as the saviours of the nation. Cowen is just leading the FF charge, wait till the rest of FF step up to the mark. As they say, you are in a for a torrid time folk ! The Budget is over, the dirty work is done, FF are on the march to the battle
Every 6 months or so, Clowen has a sober day. He shouts his head off and beats his chest. Its a display that seems to impress the neanderthal gombeen hick voters of FF.

Everybody else has a good laugh at it.

Tomorrow is Thursday, which is pub day for him. Back for another 6 months of sauce, and the gombeen FF voters thinking of the ape beating his chest.

Really this has to be a joke account.

If Cowen and co are so tough and strong, why didn't they touch pensions? Cause they know they need every vote they can get and they know the pensioners won't take their crap, just like last time.

Oh yes indeed. A bankrupt country, a burst banking system, a default pending, 460,000 unemployed, annual emigration of 70,000 and you say FF is on the march. You really have a great sense of humour.

On the contrary, I'd say a lot of the opposition would be scared if Lenihan or Martin took over, as either of them would save a lot of FF seats. Biffo is yesterday's man,and besides with a new leader FF are great at reinventing themselves. They discard the old and move on-the past is the past etc. They did it with Lynch, CJH, Albert and Bertie.

Yup, I presume one to one interview, no chance he would sit down with other TDs.

Miriam has been trying lately to be more direct but its difficult for her to change after a lifetime of soft focus interviews.
She will be under orders to go easy on him. If she gets tough, Clowen will start blaming RTE for making up the crisis, and thats FF speak for "your salary will be reduced or even worse, you will be fired if you keep this line of questioning up".

Cowen tonight

It should be interesting if not pre-recorded, Cowen coming out to hold onto the leadership of FF - how sad is that, if he had worked as hard for the country he might have a better chance, but then keep him as leader it would be more seats lost for FF:lol:

Think I'll skip the pre-recorded bit and wait for the panel discussion. After all, its not as if we don't know what he'll say. Move along now...nothing to see here
