Do you really think you are going to get a workable suggestionfrom the gang on RTE at present - only one of them, the Yank, is not dependent on state pay or handouts

At long last they've gotten around to the solutions and changing the constitution.

Oh wait no, they're off talking in abstract again.

The elephant in the room is that until we nationalise our land and natural resources, reject the bankers debts and the IMF, and use our new debtless status to set up state companies to built up a native industrial base - we will remain slaves.

We'll have absolutely no money to exploit our "vast resourses".

FFS Miriam get a grip of this and get back to the constitution.

I am with that Aer Arann guy. We need to get away from the constant whining blame game. Dunphy has done very well in the Celtic Tiger. He has no answers.
Anyone who talks about getting away from the blame game is a Fianna Fail supporter. And indeed o'Ceidigh is a Fianna Fail supporter.

Nobody will invest in the southern state until they believe this state can conduct its business fairly. Until people who are responsible get the blame and punishment they deserve then we cannot progress as a state.

The blame game will finish when the appropriate convictions are meted out and a culture of responsibility exists

A debtless Ireland would have no problem getting money outside the EU. When the USSR was founded, it repudiated all of the Tsarist debt. Even Wall Street lent it money, along with London bankers.
