There are legal requirements for election posters in the UK - the name of the agent of the candidate has to be visible on the poster - & all other election materials.

There’s also the fairly obvious point that the candidates for Stormont & Westminster are different - so you need different posters for both sets of canddates.

There are many legal requirements in the UK pal and guess what........they don't apply to the six counties, surprised any poster on here did not know that.

Candidates running for Stormont and those running for Westminster is like comparing apples and oranges, once again, surprised at your ignorance, try reading up pal or maybe go live there for a while, bet you will learn a thing or two you are oblivious to.

The agency or agencies who are employed at the moment to erect the posters for the two largest parties seem to be taking the piss.

A Fine Gael poster had to be removed in Limerick as it was covering a sign directing patients to the Breast Check Clinic.

And this is how Frank O'Rourke's (FF) posters were erected on a lamp post in Co. Kildare. And if anyone says this is necessary, no it's not, it's overkill to the point of stupidity.

That tosser Haydon has every lamppost on the bridge in Newbridge covered in an attempt to prevent anyone else being able to put up a poster. It’s right next to the polling station so hopefully they’ll be removed before the polls on the 8th.

They say that in some parts up there they even vote based on what "religion" they are. And they're not even religious!

Seemin'ly they have this great invisible god "Sosni" who pays then 10 billion pounds a year just for submitting invoices.

They hold ashes in great reverence, daubing them on their forehead (one group) or selling them (the other group) to the Great God Sosni.

The cult goes something like this...

1. You bought a stove
2. You put wood in it, described as "chips" and burned it
3. You are left with a handy pile of ash
4. You send an invoice for £783,959 to Sosni
5. One of Sosni's wee catamites sends you a cheque for £793,959

You’ll find the legal requirements as regards electoral material here - https://www.electoralcommission.org...art 4-The campaign-Northern-Ireland.pdf#page9

It’s pretty much like the rest of the UK.

In addition to that it really isn’t advisable to try to persuade people to vote for Michelle O’Neil with posters depicting Francie Molloy.

He seems particularly stupid.
He may well be , however what is particularly stupid is a party , your party that thought it was a good idea to celebrate the Black and Tans in an election year .Now that is a level of stupidity only blue shirts could come up with .

Half the Donegal population living in Dublin will be traveling through Strabane to vote.

If the candidates paid for advertising space on billboards and bus stops as per any normal advertiser, they could reach this audience legally.
