Grocery staples rise in price by 12% in less than two years, survey finds - The Irish Times - Mon, Feb 11, 2013

Says it all. Im not that simplistic to think that general labels like private or public sector are really any use. Many if not most Private sector businesses are suffering but the main cost of a persons daily life-food,petrol and childcare are still quite high. Many private sector workers have had no pay cuts. Though with 15% unemployment-thats a considerable amount who definitely have. Though I know many teachers signing on. I love though the way many private sector people feel free to discuss my salary without stating their own -even in general vague terms-their charges are my charges!!!
