Of course the content of what he has to say is absolutely correct; the whole Santa concept is an utterly filthy dirty one. When I first came across this video I was full of admiration for what this man did however my better half considers that it was not his place to loudly proclaim in front of other people kids than Santa Claus or Satan's Claws as I like to call "him" does not exist. What do other people here think? When is it okay to tell other people's kids that certain things that their parents' believe or do are evil?

He's dead right, believing in Santa Claus is utterly ridiculous almost to the point of being laughable.

I'd love to stay and discuss this more but i'm off to mass to worship Jesus Christ.

Okay Ratio, now you have really pissed me off - Because YOU think something is wrong, it doesn't mean everyone does. Believing in Santy didn't do me or my children any harm at all.

I know how you feel about it (you keep telling me) and that's your choice and you are welcome to it, you can now shut-up!

I dont think I have ever come across anyone quite so rude as you which is really saying something. Does not interacting with people like Catalpast not fill you with shame not only for yourself but for your parents? I guess though some people have no interest in self awareness at all unless it involves fighting against it so it is back on ignore for you. Last thing though; I am right in guessing you are divorced? Catch yourself on lad before its to late.

You did not have to open the thread.

What makes you so sure that it did not do your kids or yourself any harm? Often things that people do cause them a great deal of harm without them realizing with. At the very least going along with "Santa Claus" places in people in an ambiguity about the importance of truth. If you make the truth less important than a subjective "feeling good" you are on an extremely dangerous road.

Another thing is who is the father of lies? The answer to that will explain why lying outside of extreme necessity is incredibly wrong.

"The parents treat their children, as though expensive toys
Provided for dull moments, a diversion to employ"

From the song "The Twilight of the West" by the band Changes.

Another thing is that love cannot be separated from truth. I really do understand that a lot of people carry on this "Santa" nonsense thoughtlessly and therefore maybe can be excused though. "Run To Da Hills" (and I have to note here how its interesting that DUP voter Cruimh loves over the top Prods when they are being Anti-Irish Republican but otherwise despises them as much as any Libtard) saw in "Santa" dark occultism; I personally dont see that. The evil involved in the whole thing is far more mundane.

Although I always thought the giving of gifts at Christmas pre-dates Christianity in the Roman festival of Saturnalia Sigillaria. If I recall correctly Seutonius quoted Nero (of all people) admonishing people on the lavishness of their gifts and calling for restraint. So the devil would have little or nothing to do with it.

The Santa thing is harmless.

Children have a whole lifetime of sh1te ahead of them. Let them believe in a harmless myth for a while. Most of them figure it out for themselves anyway, which in itself is a useful preparation for life!

Of course they can always replace Santa with such "scientific" concepts like socialism :)

Wait.

You think Maggot is being rude, but it's OK for a lunatic to stick his nose into OTHER PEOPLE'S PARENTING of their children?
