Catch a glimpse of the "poll" on the main Forum listing, For whom would you vote in the first round of the French presidential election?

This is the outcome:
François Fillon 12.77% (actual result: 20.01%)
Benoît Hamon 0.71% (6.36%)
Marine Le Pen 46.10% (21.3%)
Emmanuel Macron 29.79% (24.01%)
Jean-Luc Mélenchon 7.09% (19.58%)
Other 3.55%

Which proved that certain bods round here:
  • show heavily biased to right-wing wishful thinking, and
  • should never be allowed adjacent to a turf accountant.

More to the point, there were just 141 responses, so calculating to two decimal places is as irrelevant as the "p" in "psychology".

What makes you think Marine Le Pen is right wing? Her economic policies are more left wing than the Socialist Party.

It's just a bunch of malcontents whose lives are so f--ked up that chaos seems preferable to the sad, miserable, lonely existence they're experiencing.

To be fair, "For whom would you vote" is (and should be) a very different question to "who do you think would win".

Thus proving my thesis there is a rightist tendency here.

By the way, it's not me saying Le Pen is right-wing. It was a French court.
I would hope there is a rightist tendency here. It is one of the few places where there is one.

The Ironic thing is that Political Irish is always called a right wing site and yet it has Macron leading their poll, and here on Lefty P.ie it has Le Pen leading the poll!

Le Pen is correct that the issue now is more pro or anti globalism than it is Left-Right in French politics.
