Just because your mad views changed, it doesn't mean that other normal people's views have to change.
lol...you think you're "normal people." petunia

DoG...normal people don't get dressed up in funny outfits to relive ancient battles and tell everyone how great their religion is. They also definitely don't do it when people of other religious faiths don't want it in their neighborhoods. And they superdooper don't want it when you're all full drunk falling over yourselves, slinging sectarian slurs and p*shing everywhere.

Shouting "F*ck the Pope" isn't normal. Playing the famine song outside Catholic Churches isn't normal. It's scumbaggery of the highest order.

"normal" indeed.

That's basically the whole thing summed up in a nutshell. The majority of people in NI vote for one of two parties. Both parties are up to their necks in association with murder and killing. Supporters of both sides are absolutely convinced that they were, are and will be always in the right. Their killings were "justified", the other side's "murder".
Both parties are absolutely despicable with only a handful of excpetions - which, to me, include McGuinness and Paisley Jr
I don't understand why people continue to vote for them. Maybe it's because they've made Stormont such an effective devolved government...
Good post but you missed one thing.
In the last election the DUP got 202,000 votes. SF Got almost 167,000.
The electorate was over 1,250,000.
Over 881,000 either didn't vote or voted for someone else.

Don't you live in England? That isn't an insult by the way, my views changed radically about Norn Iron issues from living there. It is easy to cast a cold eye when you are outside of the frying pan.
Much easier, but you also get a far clearer perspective on what really matters. And it is hardly insulting to speak the truth, though admittedly it is hurtful, but only to those who badly need to be hurt because of the hrt they cause to others.
I could be a unionist tomorrow if I thought my best interests and those of my family were served by continued union to Britain. However the only advantage it will continue to confer into the future is a right to emigrate there if they want to excel. Because NI is a failure, and was always bound to fail anyway given its sectarian foundations.
Almost all of the artificial borders created after WW1 have now disappeared. Ours will be next.

Question: what is the difference between Glenshane4 and a bucket of diarrhoea?

Answer: the bucket.
Glenshane4 might lack the virtue of charity but he makes up for it with other virtues; notably intelligence, you on the other hand sincerely believe that because you thrall through books to find little nuggets that will confirm the prejudices you soaked up from mammy that makes you bright- it doesn't at all. Your comment was highly impudent. A person such as yourself is not fit to lace his boots. Apologize immediately if you have any decency left you which I highly doubt.

Why would I apologise for something that never happened?
Even Queens University accepts that the plantation of Ulster was an act of demographic suppression that reverberates to this very day.
All academic schools of thought accept this now, stop degrading your own ideology by trying to promote bull revisionism.

As a Republican Socialist I can still think of ten better hypothetical arguments for Loyalism than you and your kind bother to do.
Benny hill school of clowns you lot belong to.

Whatever about despairing at people voting for SF or DUP, at least they are motivated. The 881000 gob************************es who sit on the sidelines carping on about "they're all the same" are the real villains of the piece. This is never more true than when PR is used in elections.
