Homeless numbers at record levels again at 8374

This is the number that Landlord Coveney and Damien English said would be
at zero in June.

No wonder Coveney ran away from housing.

Time to get that 5 million spin machine earning its crust.

The fanboys will be on duty soon (just after 9am and they've finished their skinny latte) with their 'keep the recovery going' and 'doomstersrus.com' childish deflection while, at the same time, attempting to claim that Sinn Fein would cause a homelessness crisis, have 700,000 people on hospital waiting lists, oversee a corrupt police force etc etc if in government......

Either that or they'll stick their rabid heads in the sand and ignore the thread altogether.

Look at the rolled up sleeves.

How much harder can this man work.

Of course hes not a new minister with no understanding
of housing way out of his depth.

He does do a very good 'concerned look', much like the health minister with the degree in journalism.
I'd say he'd write a strongly worded letter if required......

RTE's latest headline is pure fake news.
Despite the earlier article showing another increase in the numbers, the concerned looking moron is now claiming that 'progress is being made'....i.e the problem is spreading to ALL parts of the country now..

Are some of the homeless figures non nationals who weren’t able to find accommodation when they arrived?
Non-nationals will always be given priority over Irish people by FFG.
In the same way that FFG borrow over €600 million a year to give away in foreign aid....

It surely isn't an irrelevant question.

What is the impact of immigration policy (we're in the EU, so we don't really have our own policy) on this.

How does the current estimate of 8,374 homeless compare with the net influx of immigrant of the last, say, 20 years? Or even last 5 years?

I've been dealing with a number of HAP enquiries this week.
None were Irish.
If you're intent on importing foreign social welfare queens, then of course you're going to end up with a housing 'crises',

The last time I ever saw the number of non-Irish on the housing list was 2011.
Somehow, no similar breakdowns were subsequently released.
I'd be grateful if anyone here could find the latest figures.

For God sake look at this man - he cannot even afford to shave or a shirt with sleeves that go the way to his wrists.

So we're talking about homelessness in Ireland and literally the poster child is African, sums up the problem perfectly. If you aren't brown and or a Muslim migrant the Irish government doesn't give a flying f uck about you.
