I wonder if polling was conducted early in the week or later in the week, not that it would have made much difference to the die-hards.

Hope your source is reliable spotty.
It is. And may Spotty be the first poster who wouldn't usually be kind to SF to note that the 11% figure represents a great result for Factual's party.

Spotty hopes this is very encouraging.

very surprisingly little movement, given the week that's in it. Hard to believe no increase in LP support and only 1% for FG. SF the only real winners, and even them in the margin of error.

Just making sure lol.

I'm not factual and I'll only be happy if it's 11% or more on polling day.

Little surprised about FG. I'd say Labour are happy though with 27% given Gilmore's wife's storm in a teacup.

Come on Labour and go back to your roots. Reach out the hand of reconciliation to Sinn Fein. Lets turn the broken political system in this country on it's head.

Makes Spotty feel a bit like a serial killer. Your enemy is lying on the floor in a pool of his own blood, but you'd still like to go over and jump on their head. Just for good measure.

Perhaps Spotty can change the title of this thread to spread the good news and let everyone know the results are in? This thread is being overlooked, it seems.

Genuine meltdown territory for FF and it's now being confirmed in poll after poll. 17% would mean what? 30-35 seats?

Any idea when the poll was taken? Before or after IMF arrived?

I would be an abject liat to deny 17% isnt painful. Mainly of course for FF but the double whammy is that the people are going to put into office a bunch of people who will not agree on the time of day !!

17% for the traitors of destiny is still a disaster for Ireland. It will only be good news when they are on 0%.

Oggy must be your time of the month. The writings clearly on the wall for FF. Smith still lying through his teeth. Jeez even Sheahan says a FF meltdown is about to happen.

This poll offers consistency in the downward trend for FF and that they may struggle to get over 20% in the actual vote.

FF will get trounced in Dublin.
