Regardless of whether Trump wins or not he has potentially sucked the country back to race divide and hate and given permission for it, right down to the children in classrooms. The USA will be dealing with this long after this election. Trump has opened a pandora's box .. to an extent Brexit did the same in England particularly ...

Sky did a piece on this today called THE TRUMP EFFECT ( see below ) .. its scary stuff. Exposing deep fault lines and creating new ones ..

VIDEO is here - How 'The Trump Effect' is transforming the US

IF POSSIBLE WATCH THE VIDEO, THEN COMMENT .. 12 mins approx

Do you think this is this biased?
As was asked on twitter - Where is the video for the Clinton effect?

Personally I think trump is the one stiring up these deep fault lines INSIDE the USA, dont think Hilary is doing same. And believe me .. I think both candidates are poor for America and poor for the world.

Oh and nut-job spree shooters have increased tenfold under Obama. Him and the Clintons are con artists.

The Democrats really needed to find a better candidate than Hillary to face Trump.

Any other candidate would have beaten him.

They have screwed up big time.

Imagine the anger when Trump is elected and has to renege on certain promises as they are undeliverable. How will his supporters react? Interesting times ahead.

Well said Little League baseball player, Steven Cruz, who looks all of about 10 years old.

Asked what he would say to Trump, Cruz says "I would say 'Calm down and take it easy on the kids.'"

Word.

Trump can't be blamed for talking about the racial tensions that already existed in the US before this campaign. Clinton talked about them too.

But Trump deserves to have a tiny little finger pointed at him for exploiting those racial tensions for media coverage and for emboldening extremist views among a small but aggressive percentage of 'minorities' and 'whites'.

For poisoning the atmosphere as he has done.. he is a manipulative, divisive, selfish little pr1ck.. but also one of the best pantomime villains of all time.

They had a very popular candidate, Bernie Sanders who was pulling in more crowds than Trump and Clinton combined. But the D N C decided to destroy Sanders campaign and annoint H R C as their nominee. They went for the most devisive person in U S politics, a decision that is beyond belief.

Race relations worsened under Obama. Square that circle?

Trump will be a President for all Americans. Note how he has NEVER attacked his oppositions supporters, NEVER spoken ill of American citizens in general terms. He didn't call Hillary supporters racists or bigots or "deplorables". The reality is Trump will MORE likely heal the racial divide by destroying the political divide which Democrats have cultivated. He's made solving the problems of the inner cities a central pillar of his campaign, while the progressive left do sh*t like this:

Progressives always have been and always will be racists. The Democrats are the party of the KKK, they are the party which felt they need a militant wing to advance their agenda and what's changed today? They stoke violence at Trump events, Hillary is endorsed by the Communist party (which never fails to engage in violence when confronting "fascism") and they use BLM to keep black people believing they are oppressed so they will keep voting Democrat.

Obama has stoked racial tensions by endorsing riots by a hate movement which regularly calls for violence against white people, white communities and the police. He's stoked racial tensions by inviting a brat kid who dismantled a digital clock to the white house as a PR exercise. His administration discriminates against whites and Christians when selecting candidates for government jobs and apologizes for terrorists.

You're right that it doesn't matter much if he wins or not, he's made an enormous dent in the credibility and trust of the establishment. If America has another Presidential election there will be a new Trump and he/she will be swept into office on the back of mass revolt against the liberal elite and political establishment.

Great OP.

These are some of the stories recounted in the article. Donald Trump and his campaign have acted to legitimise misogynistic and racial hatred and have emboldened those that hold disgusting fascist tendencies.

Local teachers Val and Lora Jane spoke of how their students had become less tolerant of one another.
Some children have taken to shouting "Trump" at Hispanic kids, laughing about deportation and using insults not heard in the playground for years.
In corridors, an Indian child is nicknamed "Isis" and Trump campaign slogans are used as taunts.
We felt the same sense of crisis in Muslim communities in Michigan, where women spoke of suddenly feeling like there was a target on their heads.Others recounted being verbally and physically threatened. One woman whispered that someone had tried to run her off the road.
The director of the group's Hate Watch programme said that Mr Trump had done more to energise and embolden hate groups than any politician in modern American history.
White nationalist Matthew Heimbach confirmed this when he allowed us to film him knocking on the doors of a trailer park in Kentucky.

It is only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured or killed in a hate inspired incident.

If any good can come of Trump's campaign, I think it's the bit in italics. The media and the political elite have it too easy for too long and Trump is shaking that up. Most Americans lean independent.. there is a desperate need for more parties and an end to the interminable, mindless grind of binary politics.

what would Health Care look like under a Trump presidency?

He wants to abolish ObamaCare.
Hasn't specified what to replace it with.
He only mentioned 'more competition' in the debates.
Not much to go on.

So getting rid of ObamaCare would likely let insurers revert to previous policies and practices.
That means a return to 'pre-existing conditions' exclusions which would be huge step backwards.

Your wife had a yeast infection a couple years ago?
Well, that's now a 'pre-existing condition' and the health insurance you are currently paying for, will simply decline coverage.
The abuses of this policy in the past were monstrous, I can't even imagine how far the industry will take things under a Trump presidency.

Trump is still a racist, misogynist, islamophobe... and literally Hitler? Well this is a new perspective. If only people had had this information as far back as the primaries, the result may have been different.

The main thing it's showing is American politics is severely broken.

Choosing Trump as a candidate is crazy stuff and seriously, can the democrats not find anyone who isn't a former first lady? It's old dynasty politics at its worst.

Horrific damage has been done.

Trump is just the most ridiculous candidate I've ever seen though. It would be comedy if it weren't so bloody scary.

It's already happened.

and Trump has managed to do all this without having to pay for it? Even in this, he leaves the Democrats in ha'penny place, they had to pay Democracy Matters to organise homeless people and mentally ill to attack people at rallies. Or Soros' Open Society paying for domestic terrorists in Black Live Matters. Of course, that has had no effect on the civic well being of the country.

How White Nationalists Learned To Love Donald Trump - POLITICO Magazine

The embrace of Donald Trump by America’s white nationalists has been one of the most surprising and unsettling threads in the 2016 campaign. The celebrity New York developer has been endorsed by the nation’s most prominent neo-Nazis, as well as both current and former Klansmen.

He is supported online by a legion of racist and anti-Semitic trolls, who push his campaign’s message and viciously attack journalists and politicians they see as hostile to Trump.

Whether deliberately or not, the candidate, his son Donald Jr. and his surrogates have circulated white nationalist messages and imagery online.

The Republican National Committee even displayed a white nationalist’s tweet during the GOP convention.
