The loony left, anti clerical, pro abortion tools have little to be worrying
about....

No doubt the decent, sensible people of Drogheda will send them packing... :giggle:

I see the local self-appointed digital parish priest and his pillion passenger have turned up to explain to us how Lourdes is somewhere near Drogheda, metaphysically speaking.

Why on earth you would want to preserve the name of a hospital with the shameful reputation Lourdes has i have no idea.

The Michael Neary hospital ? a fitting tribute to the man and the staff who deliberately removed all those medical records to cover up for the butcher

Bulldozing that sh*thole to the ground would be the best outcome for patients

Surgeon of shame - Independent.ie

Man allegedly abused by doctor received €70,000 from Drogheda hospital
Don't forget the Michael Shine Paedo̶p̶h̶i̶l̶e̶iatrics Wing Retired surgeon Michael Shine jailed for sex assaults

Signs of the times in UCHG. The sodality of the rearguard have only themselves to blame for the rejection of their creed by the people of Ireland.

One rogue medic does not define any hospital, especially one with such a long history serving its community with devotion and honour. By keeping the hospital's name, we pay tribute to the thousands of staff who have worked and work at the hospital in tough conditions under huge pressure, many paid little, and for nuns there was no pay at all, just the daily satisfaction of doing God's work, and we should never forget them, instead we should thank God for everything they did and continue doing for the thousands of families who have benefited from their care
The butcher Neary and sex beast Shine is 2, not to mention the staff who deliberatedly removed medical records to protect the butcher.

Name the new hospital after the butchers victims lest we ever forget what he did to those women, how other consultants gave him the all clear and staff tried to conceal his barbaric practices by removing records. Thank god the british midwife and consultant obstetrician from the UK finally stood up to him after staff at the hospital disgraced themselves.

"Gods work" ? Removing a womans uterus , sneaking files out and fondling little boys, fair enough

Feckin' hell. Is that a rogue's gallery or a direction sign? :) Serious lack of imagination. It isn't as if Galway lacks for landscape and famous rivers, lakes, poets, artists.

So they went for some middle eastern imports...

If you were to do the equivalent in terms of the other psychological miasma over the past thousand years you'd have to have Oliver Cromwell Street in Dublin, the B-Special Stadium instead of the Lansdowne Road (bugger 'aviva') and Famine Street in Cork.

That was some strong poppy juice that rolled down the gangplank in the 6th century alright.

Reminds me of the big quarys in Drogheda that are near to the hospital which is kind of odd to see in an urban area

Looks a perfect promontory for a Massive Bronze Badger with Clockwork Moving Ears. Surprised they haven't managed to stick a Holy Flyin' Mazza on it at some point in the past.

Right. The Massive Bronze Badger With Clockwork Moving Ears Memorial Hospital.

Can't blame the local hoi-polloi for wanting to rename the gaff. It is a longstanding Irish tradition with institutions that once they've been involved in a certain amount of scandal and turpitude that they generally need to be re-branded while the same sort of people who were in charge during the scandals remain unchanging.

I hear the word 'FaS' is free...

Why?
Do you not understand what Nazis did?
Enslaved pregnant women and sold their babies on the black market? Raped, beat, starved and enslaved children they were supposed to be educating and taking care of? Protected senior rapists in the organisation? Butchered women with unnecessary hysterectomies or symphesiotomies?
