Get your skates on.

There's been a delay with these schemes as they had to get EU state aid approval. Why was that? If the planet is about to burn up, why would you delay a solution by more paperwork?

Never mind, it could be an earner. I'm thinking of a field of PV panels.

PV in Ireland is not a solution. I conclusively debunked this in the old thread.

PV is a mature technology that should not be recieving subsidies.

Further PV on its own is not a technical solution . PV requires batteries to be technically deployable on a large scale.

I support the energy efficiency programs but they don't go far enough. No doubt due to funding being diverted to useless technologies like solar PV.
