The report says that 'before killing Serbs and members of other ethnic communities, Kosovar Serbs removed their vital organs and sold them for transplant'!

That claim is between 25-36 seconds into the report.

Russia used to be scarier as the big bad Soviet wolf, spreading its chilly Arctic bolshevik tentacles ever further west. Comical Ali was more credible than this nonsense. Who's the mad Serbian passing these fairytales to Moscow?

As to the credability of the reports, how did Kosovan Albanians run 'concentration camps' in a province overrun by the JNA? It would seem that people like Del Ponte have been led up the garden path - but that assumes aswell that her words have not been lifted entirely out of context.

The Serbian general in the report makes the point that the alledged 'camps' were in areas known to have KLA command positions. At a time when the Serbs had the undisputed upper hand are we to believe the KLA was running an organ harvesting business on an industrial scale? Jesus they must be an amazing outfit to have pulled that off. One would also have to accept the figure of KLA claims of their numerical strenght rather than the much lower NATO/Serbian ones - but which ever figure fits the story as needed I suppose will be used or altered to fit.

Did the dastardly KLA organise self-powered refridgerated camoflagued trucks and operating centres to get around the power black outs and Serbian road blocks? They are ingenious as well as unspeakably evil.

In all seriousness, where are the actual eye witnesses these claims are based on and the mass graves one guy claimed he saw? Oh wait, that guy said he saw smoke. So they cremated the remains using smokless fuel so as not to tip off the JNA and Serbian militias who were rampaging about. No wait that would contradict that witness. Confused? The story certainly seems to be.

These atrocities apparently happened in the imaginary period when the Belgrade government lost its iron grip over Kosovo - which is the only way this fairytale could even begin to make sense. What is sad is that it wil be believed as long as the falacies and inconsistancies are swallowed whole and without question.

Interseting to read what Del Ponte actually said and the context her words may have been in.

Oh, horror?! Is it not enough testimony for you? This somehow did not bother you at all, when you accused Serbia of genocide in Kosovo, although there was no evidence, only hearsay. Why such sudden change of heart?

The Hague monkey-court has acquitted an Albanian murderer and rapist today despite the evidence of 80 eyewitnesses. The court has found the evidence "inconclusive". A small celebration today, Thac0man? ;)

You cannot just assume that everyone is like you and hence given to unrealistic bias and making excuses for murder.

This sounds so crazy. Where is the evidence? I wouldn't be surprised if the Russians have got it wrong for political reasons.

According to excerpts from Del Ponte's book, that is to hit the bookshops Apr. 3, her team of investigators had been informed that some 300 Serbs were killed for organ trafficking after being transferred from Kosovo to the small town Burrel, 91 kilometres north of Albanian capital Tirana.

A room in a "yellow house" outside the town was used as the operation theatre. Organs were extracted from young people there, taken to Tirana airport, and trafficked abroad. Those people were later killed and secretly buried, according to information she cites.

Del Ponte says her team found the house in Burrel in 2003, following leads by "reliable journalists" and by the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) administration.

But despite finding traces of blood in the house which had been re-painted white in the meantime, as well as remains of old, used medical material (gauze, a used syringe, two plastic infusion bags hardened in mud, empty drug bottles, among them of drugs used for muscle relaxation), "we decided the evidence was not enough. Without bodies or firm evidence that would link any suspects with the crimes, all the possibilities for further investigation for the tribunal's prosecution were closed," Del Ponte wrote.

So in summation there was not enough evidance to support the claims being made. So they remain claims.

I don't dispute that terrible things happened but the information (or inferences) in the excert from Del Ponte's book is alot different from that information contained in the Russian media report and claims being made (it would seem retrospectivly) by Serbs.

So the evidance garnered thus far is contradictory given the versions of Del Ponte and the much more alarmist Russian version extrapolated from it, the latter obviously embellished beyond belief.

This story is a refreshing change from the sick propaganda the unfortunate Serbs have been victims of for a decade and more. Unlike most of that demonization, I suspect there is some truth in it.

"Del Ponte claims, based on what she describes as credible reports and witnesses, that Kosovan Albanian guerrillas transported hundreds of Serbian prisoners into northern Albania where they were killed, and their organs "harvested" and trafficked out of Tirana airport."
"In the book, Del Ponte writes that her investigators visited a house in the remote mountainous region outside Burrel, Albania, which was allegedly being used as an impromptu clinic for the butchering of 300 young Serbs captured by the Kosovo Liberation Army and transported in lorries across the border from Kosovo to Albania."

Thankyou for the Bold type face Hattori, not sure what it is supposed to do except maybe highlight key words so no one has to read the all insufferable shite you post.

But something that is funny about this story is the claim the prisoners were feed well to keep the healthy. Now unless the period of detention was particularly long, it does not make sense. However there is precident for this feeding of top notch grub to prisoners. Remember Hansel and Gretel? An old story deampt up to scare little children? But still more valid and believable than this new fairy tale.

This is really amazing that you pay attention on type on font rather than on what the post is about. This is not a story to scare children. Unfortunately, this seems to be true. In case you have some other things to say, contact the ICTY or write Ms. Carla to tell her that she's wrong.

Russia Today reports that Carla Del Ponte (Chief Prosecutor, United Nations international criminal law tribunal) claims Kosovar Albanian terrorists kidnapped hundreds of Serb civilians, brought them to Albania, and murdered them. The then took their organs and sold them on the black market.

YouTube - Exposed: how Kosovo Serbs were butchered for organs

Edit: also being reported on Fox news (Serbian Prosecutor Investigating Reports of Organ Trafficking During War in Kosovo - International News | News of the World | Middle East News | Europe News - FOXNews.com)

Five people in Kosovo including doctors and a former health official have been charged in relation to an international organ trafficking network. A Turk and an Israeli are also wanted on Interpol warrants in relation to organ trafficking. Kosovo 'organ trafficking' exposed - Europe - Al Jazeera English

This news indicates that Kosovo and Albania have indeed been used by a sophisticated organ trafficking network. The original allegations of organ trafficking charged that hundreds of Serb prisoners were taken from Kosovo into Albania to have their organs removed. Only a criminal network with international connections could have found a market for the organs thus removed

Just like RT reported genocide 2 years ago during the war with Georgia. Wild claims about Georgian soldiers killing 2,000 civilians and murdering babies in front of their mothers were never subtanciated.

The apologists for that fake state of Bosnia & Herzegovina & the illegality that is Kosovo and assorted Serb-haters should be along anytime soon to put you in your place. "How dare you portray nationalities other than Serbs in a bad light, blah, blah, blah...."
