Obviously unless someone has been stuck down a mine for the last two years, we all know what's been happening in this country, who is to blame and who will be paying the price!

I know we have brains to burn in this country (unfortunately just not within the FF party). Now I am attempting to discover the level of brain power on P.ie by asking people for their opinions on how they would deal with the crisis we now find ourselves in.

This is a rallying cry, our own think tank. In other words how would you approach the problem of saving our country from crippling debt and turn our fortunes around.

I understand that there will be discussions on taxation and cutting expenditure, but people try to think outside the box for a minute. Perhaps we can find a solution that has escaped the economists, government etc.

All thoughts greatly welcomed.

The socialization of the main means of production and distribution, central planning, execution of majior traitors and majior legal and "extra-legal" businessmen, the establishment of sincere and thorough law enforcement to deal with anti-social elements, withdrawal from the EU, establishing friendship with progressive anti-imperialist regime's such as the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Cuba, Iran, Zimbabwe and Venuzeula....That would be a good start.

Closing down all strip clubs, banning porn and introducing compulsory military service would also be good ideas.

The only solution is Communist Revolution. Capitalism is infantile introversion, primitivism, superstition and evil. Communism is reason, friendship and goodness.

Easy now. Business is business. And you never know when you might need to go back dancing Vixen, I mean SevenStars.

You shouldn't be so down on the sex industry. Personal liberty and all that. Keep your nose out of other peoples business.

I thought Iran would jump out on that list more so but however....Yeah Zanu-PF kinda remind me about Dev and I feel about them much the same way as I do him..But the world being what it is at the moment and all that...

All I would consider the DPRK more progressive than Cuba....A mate of mine was actually over there this summer. Its definitely on my list of places to check out.

Who was advocating establishing relations with undemocratic regimes?

Also just wait until I move the tanks northward....;)

Except that a lot of the girls doing it are brutalised into it by the poverty caused by your chum Friedman. I would regard it as the next thing to rape in a lot of cases.

You make noises about Connolly, but if Connolly was alive today, Labour would want him jailed as a terrorist. In short, Labour is made up of comfortable people, who just want a bigger slice of the capitalist cake. Upsetting the status quo is simply not on your agenda. You have totally bought into the EU \ Fourth Reich, with its neo-liberal ethos, and it banning of democratic control of the means of production. In short, Labour has a bourgeois ideology, and are happy as pigs in clabar with that.

So who would in effect rule the country?
Local councils for the roads. Courts to deal with basic common law. Families cover families. Charities for the poor. Individuals sort their own stuff out.

The only solution is Communist Revolution. Capitalism is infantile introversion, primitivism, superstition and evil. Communism is reason, friendship and goodness.
Primitivism? Communism is basically resorting back to tribal collectivism. Also in other threads you rejected reason openly claiming something about philosophical truth as opposed to science.
