Surely the Judge will see through this and not grant ANOTHER extension.

...Let me guess his legal team were mostly from the big city and were out to get a poor innocent country boy like him.

They dropped him last time. This time he dropped them.

Expect strikes, protests, lock-ins and lock-outs in Cavan any moment.

They are nothing if not consistent in their tomfoolery.
Is their madness in their method.

They refused a cheque drawn on a Russian bank ...
Irish ones are so much more reputable - i hear though the legal profession is insisting on being paid in flesh poundage.

To paraphrase Lady Bracknell: To lose one legal team, Mr. Quinn, may be regarded as a misfortune. To lose both looks like carelessness.

Quinn has dropped more legal teams than a Fermanagh GAA full back drops the ball. More delay and roundabouts ?

Really it's either timewasting (unlikely) or that the solicitors have refused to follow a certain tack in the trial. The firm's been horribly messed around by the Quinn's, having to bring ridiculous arguments and appeals, all of which are being dismissed out of hand. Top off the embarrassment of having one of your clients abscond from the jurisdiction and it's not a relationship that can survive.

Who knows? maybe it is a plausible situation. I think we all know that there is an elite running this State for its own ends.

You're probably correct. The Quinns have committed perjury on a monumental scale at every stage of this process, which has resulted in their lawyers being forced to come up with ever more bizarre approaches to fighting their case. For example, a team of serious professional lawyers had to go in to the High Court and argue that Seán Quinn's wife (a director of 30 companies and a company secretary of 10) had no knowledge of the business world, company law, or contract law.

When O'Donnell Sweeney/Eversheds and Bill Shipsey SC/Brian O'Moore SC parted company with the Quinns last September, you got the distinct impression that they were hugely relieved to see the back of them.

I suspect its not really money is the problem. Many legal people despite opinions to the contrary have principles and wont run with **** and bull stories.
