Bertie The Socialist Spiv won't like that. :)

Only a FG-FF alliance can prevent a Dail dotted with Trotskyites and fractious Independents, with a strong Sinn Fein stirring the pot to suit its own murky agendas."
He really has something against Trotskyites. Is he one himself?

I thought at this stage he had run out of ships to jump on 2?
Maybe his term with FCA on Spike Island got him into bad habbits. There are too many craft there, and I assume good army training would dictate you must have several options when planning to escape !

Keanos life on the dole must have made him sign up....shows his FF credentials though.

Keane was so traumatised by the deaths at Massereene and Craigavon that he even forgot what year they happened, despite it happening only last year. Some of these hacks are quite pathetic.

Probably something he kept from his days in the Workers Party.

Anyone know if it's true that he has cancer by the way?

Harris's legacy will be the fact that he and mate John Waters went on national TV and set about assisting in duping the people of the island that FF were the people to put back into power and dhe id so for his own personal gain hence his being made Senator. That for me is deserving of Harris.Let that be his legacy

He is a self centred , mixed up excuse for a journo. He is changing tact now because his puppet master tells him to do so. Master O;Reilly now shifting toward FF and Harris laying the groundwork for him.

Eoghan Harris: Fianna Fail should form a pact with Fine Gael to shoot down SF rocket - Eoghan Harris, Columnists - Independent.ie

"This brings me to the Sinn Fein rocket. Right now it is rising rapidly on a potent mix of anger and amnesia. ..

At best, anarchic anger is likely to land us with a Fine Gael-Labour government at loggerheads on core issues like public sector reform. At worst, it will leave us at the mercy of a coalition of Sinn Fein cadres and hardcore socialists, ready to hold the centre to ransom...

Sad thing about him he is in denial, though I think he has certain amount of intelligence. Today for instance he is praising Bertie-is there anyone else in the country who would do that. Of course Bert gave him the only bit of decent recognition he will ever get - a seat in Senate for just over three years, for services rendered. For that he should be eternally grateful, though it was his 30 pieces of silver.

Did Eoghan Harris say in his column in September that he or Brian Cowen is an alcoholic?
I think Harris mentioned that he was a reformed alcoholic though I can't be certain. He was trying to sympathise with Cowen, I think.

Harris advocating a 20% salary cut for his own part-time job. I would say 60% would be fairer for the Seanad layabouts and 50% for the Dail
Why dosent he agree to do the Seanad chore for free in the national interest--by their fruits you shall know them.

Careerist and unprincipled scum of the highest order.

Him jumping ship is not unexpected. He is a political whore.
"political whore", excellent concept, we could apply this to most politicians.
