Fergal Quinn looked after those who couldn't look after themselves.. Your small minded posts demonstrate how you made your money slagging your betters.
Paying poverty wages in his own company and slashing jobs and conditions in the post office.

And after he sells off his supermarket chain he goes gambling on the property bubble - a property bubble that people like him caused the economy to collapse and a decade of austerity.

You’re just a moaney negative person who never created a job or an opportunity for anyone other than yourself.. You will never experience that joy of liberating a fellow human person because you are an entirely self obsessed greedy individual with all focus entirely upon your self.

In this situation Pabilito - it was Quinn who was the greedy individual - paying poverty wages - slashing jobs and conditions in the post office - then investing in a vulture fund during the property bubble and contributing to crashing the economy.

Quinn was an entrepreneur, he put money at risk to generate profits. The world that you live in was created, in no small way, as a result of this process. A functioning economy needs entrepreneurs.

As far as wages are concerned - he paid the going rate. Most shop workers (unless you are a butcher etc.) are unskilled laborers. I've stacked shelves in my time - it ain't rocket science.

As for the post office - that was a 19th century enterprise that needed to be updated if it was going t survive. It is interesting that several "new" countries have decided that an old-fashioned postal service is not necessary at all. When was the last time you sent a letter, or bought a postal order?

Fergal Quinn had zero personal or vested interest in the Irish Post Office.

He served a national public interest in restructuring and rationalising the Irish Post Office which was previously a complete economic basket case..

You’re obviously a left wing nut job zealot who despises anyone with an ounce of economic common sense.

Fergal Quinn was serving the vested interests of the political establishment in this country (while getting a substantial wad of cash for attending a half a dozen meetings a year)

After his time in the post office he had slashed jobs and services - and the company had run up a huge debt (a debt it is still trying to pay off)

The only economic sense that Quinn had was how to line his own pocket - and even then he blew a substantial amount of his wealth gambling during the property bubble.

Fergal Quinn made his money by seeking to understand and serve his customers needs.. he went out of his way to survey his customers needs and deliver upon them.. and it worked.. you're just a mean spirited jealous bedgrudger.
The mean spirited jealous begrudger was Fergal Quinn who paid his staff poverty wages and slash jobs and service in a public company when he got the chance.

Nor had Fergal Quinn.. but do tell us how you make money?
Like the vast majority of the population I have to work for a wage.
