On a serious note why had he gone absent. There must be a legitimate reason why he has gone to ground. Has anyone heard anything. Im sure at a time like this he wouldnt be staying out of the spotlight unless for a very good reason

Kenny incompetent?

Noonan clearly more capable than him, and therefore a better public face for the party?

I think that's the one.

DC is soooo gonna slap you. A two line OP with a typo in the thread title? Not sure if you've noticed but he's having something of a bad hair day about underperforming OPs...

ROTFLMAO

Another of these lame threads. Is this the latest FF tactics - start 'where is Enda?' threads every two days?

He was

  • In the Dáil all last week.
  • In leaders questions and Questions to the Taoiseach every day.
  • Doing media interviews (as normal).
  • In his constituency last weekend.
In other words, doing the exact same as Eamon Gilmore, Caoimhin Ó Caolain, John Gormley and (except for being in Dublin rather than in his constituency on Sunday) Brian Cowen.

Two weeks ago we had one of these "Where is Enda?" threads saying he was silent when in reality he had been the lead on all the national news bulletins for most of the day over criticism he made about Cowen in Leaders Questions.

Last week someone created a "Where is Enda?" thread saying he had gone to ground at the very minute when he was doing a media interview.

Maybe, instead of asking "where is Enda?" when he is exactly where he always is, they should ask their own taoiseach a couple of questions:

  • Where is all the money from the Celtic Tiger gone?
  • Where is the "cheapest bailout in the world" Cowen and Lenihan promised us?
  • Where is our sovereignty and freedom gone under Cowen?
  • When will FF ministers finally go to where the sun don't shine and never return, rather than remaining in office having sunk the country and destroyed our independence?
  • Where is our National Pension Funds gone?
Oh, and another one,

  • why did FF and Green ministers LIE about having supposedly been told that the EU and Rehn told them to cut the minimum wage? It now turns out that the EU and Rehn set no such demand or condition. But true to form, FF and the Greens lied to the Irish people to dodge responsibility for one of their decisions.

He might say something about the economy?
Hopefully, that's the explanation, he has many qualities but a deep understanding of international finance is not one of them. I know he is familiar with Abraham Lincoln's sayings, there is one piece of advice which could be followed by most politicians in present circumstances;)

He is on the ground campaigning in each constituency. Looks like he is keeping the heavy hitters infront, Bruton, O'Reilly, Varadka and Nonan. Enda is best as a behind the scenes general.
What a joke ...heavy hitters.... Bruton tried to sink Kenny, Noonan nearly wiped out the whole FG front bench in one election. Kenny is good behind the scenes..lol... He's 35 years in the Dail and what has he done, he's a liability to FG.

Will FG change the MW decision if they take power after General Election, will they bump the minimum wage back up to where it was?.

Tell us, Tommy: over the past seven days, how many minutes-worth of national media interviews has Enda Kenny taken part in compared to Michael Noonan, James O'Reilly, John Bruton and Leo Varadkar? (If you want a comparison with a party leader, take Eamon Gilmore.)

Has Enda not been around at your house, personally outlining Fine Gael's policies in fine detail whilst catering to your every whim? If he hasn't then that's very bad of him and he need to be replaced by Jesus Bruton at once.

Seriously though, go crawl back under your bridge. Oh and you dropped this.

Yourself and a few others might want to put it back on, or are you all too ashamed?

Kenny is in the same place as a 'h' from your thread title. Missing (though it hardly matters, he will obviously be a chairman Taoiseach rather than a chief).

No way, there is a point here. Kenny hasn't said anything profound from a leader to be and the people are so bloody angry and it is like he is not listening
