Not sure what is going on, but there was an argument about something and the CC suspended the house.

He came back and told Shatter to either withdraw his remark or leave. Shatter refused to do either and the CC suspended him from the Dail. They are now voting on it..

Dáil is in uproar after Kenny and Gilmore opposed the Order of Business and the village idiot we have as a Tánaiste refused to even reply and speak to the matter.

It was the usual, something being raised, CC stating not allowed as not on Order of Business, Shatter accuses CC of something, not sure the term he used, CC ordered him to leave. This is exactly why we need Dail Reform, cannot discuss issues. Questions asked, goes to and fro, longwinded answers given to waste time, bell rings time up, no more discussions.

Great to see Gilmore giving the Ceann Comhairle a talking down for a change, after suspending Shatter from the house the Ceann Comhairle refused to let Kenny/Gilmore make their rightful objections to the order of business (both arguing the "banking questions" wording would prevent them discussing todays important events, designed to allow the Tainiste avoid the hard questions).

After the Ceann Comhairle shouted a calm Eamon down 4 times he told the Ceann Comhairle it was he who wasn't helping the view of the Dail from inside or outside the house.

Great. One more vote available to government supporters. Delight amongst Independants and backbenchers.

Why can't these idiots behave like professionals instead of the f......mind you, that's what they are, and we elected them.

Looking for a bit of cheap publicity before the election ... poor old Alan needs to get some brand recognition

One of the more obnoxious members of the opposition ..... unfortunately he'll probably be reelected:|

Calamity Coughlan was giving order of business, she wanted to discuss "Stratéis Don nGaeilge" to day. Kenny rounded on her for trying to wrap green flag round her party, on day when IMF are here, due to cronyism and misrule. Kirk tried to stop him as not being relevent, that when Shatter made some comment. Dail is irrelevant anyhow- Honohan and IMF in charge !

The entire opposition should get themselves suspended.

Let the IMF/EU bods see what sort of a sham is being operating here.

No elections allowed. No dissent allowed. No truth allowed.

Yerra look on the glass-half-full side: it's a laugh. It should distract for a moment from any of us pretending we have a clue what's going on with regard to the other matters being discussed/negotiated.
