Now no one should require any reminder as to why SF/ra claimed to have brought down the assembly, but somehow it seems to have slipped the (sic) minds of some drones. So perhaps tis best to have a little recap...

Sinn Féin insist Foster must go before RHI probe can go ahead - Belfast Newsletter

Arlene Foster must step aside to allow

RHI scandal: Foster's position 'untenable if she does not step aside' - BBC News

Then there was the 'no assembly with foster as FM' narrative...

Sinn Féin has indicated it could back another DUP nominee for position at head of Assembly

https://www.irishtimes.com/news/politics/foster-resists-sf-demands-not-to-return-as-first-minister-1.2999415

Now we are all well used to the Sf/Ra narrative changing over time, from anti EU to kissing Brussels aras, and from 'Brits out' to 'twas all themuns fault and we were fighting for gay rights'. However in a few short months we have gone from RHI being the disaster of the century and Arlene having to step down (so (chuckle) Sf/ra could chose the new FM!) to the nua narrative that tis and always twas all about the ILA...

Gerry Adams: 'No assembly without Irish language act' - BBC News

So moi was just wondering if any of the shinners (or indeed non shinners that leap to their defense) had anything to say about the fluidity of Shin flakes numerous narratives...

As for the return of the Emperor, moi can't but help notice that since the demise of the previous commander of the north, the bould Djarrygando has wasted no time in sidelining his replacement, on wards and upwards for dear leader for life...

SF are neo-liberal.

They want open borders.

So do big business so they can get cheap labour.

Bridges, you know as much as the rest of us that RHI, and the attitude to it from the DUP, was only part of caused McGuinness to collapse Stormont.

You know as much as the rest of us that the attitude of Unionists to past agreements, which they claimed were signed with fingers crossed or some such, and the pulling of funding from the Irish language also factored. The two-tiered citizenship attitude.

No more.

SF want a protectionist EU bloc as do big business. I wouldn't describe SF as neo-Liberal but they are all over the place on consistent policy positioning.

Arrrrrrrrrrrrlean just said............

"At the same time, she said, parties should "agree to bring forward legislation to address culture and language issues in Northern Ireland within a time-limited period to be agreed".

Slippery slope, giving in to those filthy Taigs.

Uturns are not foreign to SFIRA,
1972 EeC referendum

So you posted a referendum bill from two generations ago that shows a change in views, no other party has done the same.
" Never, never never.....never "

SoGgy, in our household we are wondering is there no beginning to your talents.

We think you are a big star, know what we mean.

Arlene Foster deserves credit for her olive branch this evening and I'm sure that she's genuine in her offer and the Irish language will be looked after. It needed to be done. The biggest part about Brexit for anyone on this island is the inherent disrespect which it displays towards those who are absolutely dependent on the EU to make their living. That includes the whole of the south and a substantial part of the north too and in fact it does not break down along the usual lines but it is now perceived to do so. Another massive disservice. Anyway SF are virtually obliged to accept this if they don't want their shiny new clothes to get dirty.
