This mum is willing to go to jail so she can marry her son | Her.ie

Seems like this pair fell in love after he was adopted and got back in touch.

He obviously wasn't under her influence when he was a child, and he's now an adult; and apart from a higher risk of genetic defects with any offspring they might have, is there any other reason two consenting adults shouldn't marry?

Apply every argument presented during the same-sex referendum and those people who voted yes to that would have to vote yes to this.

If they were being consistent.

Same goes for polygamy, marrying a pet or even an inanimate object.

I have a standard response to these types of threads, we have taboos for a reason, not all of them need to be challenged

Why post at all if you can't provide a counterpoint?
there was some Italian Muslim arguing recently for Polygamy on the basis that if gay marriage is acceptable then so should it

They're not two consenting adults, they're mother and son, and whilst genetic attraction between two family members is not uncommon, most are capable of controlling their libido to prevent what is considered a social taboo, which has known genetic implications for offspring.

Short answer: cut that sh1t out.
