Why? Ceremonial position, has no power, not on Exec.
Too close to Del Boy, unable to stand up to him, part of the problem, appearing before the PAC when Del Boy refuses to answer questions and negotiating with SI is not ceremonial position.

"The FAI’s General Manager Noel Mooney confirmed that all nominees have been proposed and seconded by separate AGM members, have served at least two years on the FAI Council and are serving members of Council".

So here all all Del Boy's men cross voting for each other but their names are withheld no doubt to throw off the Schoolboy's Section and anyone else who may conspire to defy him.

UEFA should pull his contract and the FAI follow.

"SI will demand details of the full remuneration package of a body's chief executive or equivalent position and independent verification

That will mean the salaries of GAA Director General Tom Ryan and the IRFU's chief executive Philip Browne, along with their FAI counterpart will be disclosed to Sport Ireland, if not publically.

A failure to comply with an audit or investigation would lead to grant suspension or even refund".

This will get interesting in terms of Del Boy's contract add-ons and particularly 2m bonus for getting 5m off Sepp.

You are spinning this too hard. As numerous people predicted, SI were always going to increase their scope to other bodies who lack transparency. You fundamentally missed the story here

SI circling the IRFU's books will be fascinating. Just you keep droning on about Kaiser Delaney.

Why wasn't their salaries disclosed before now?

Fed up of explaining to you, the GAA and IRFU conform to every legal and accounting standard that is required of them, currently 6 investigations at FAI, it cannot be put to you more simply.

We will soon find out, wont we....

One of the reasons the FAI came unstuck was dogged media reporting. The same simply cannot be said about the rugby press.

I spoke a year ago about spillover, that the state wouldnt stop with the FAI. There are skeletons in other closets.

"He said proposals for the quorum to be reduced to two were based on legal advice in order to avoid the board becoming inquorate and unable to make decisions".

So Del Boy/Conway or Mooney /Conway can do what they like and totally ignore the Board if they make things awkward and hold EGMs at their pleasure, extraordinary legal advice.

Hold up small s. To get on the board you need to either be a senior employee or on council for a period

Ignore the board how?

Its simple. If Ross wants a total purge of all officers they need to be replaced. To become an officer or go on the board you need to have put in time on council. There are very few candidates who have these stripes. So the quorum for decisions has to be reduced.

I have no idea what you are dribbling about.

The rules need changing, by your logic, independent directors cannot be appointed.

FAI/Del Boy keep putting hurdles in the way of any progress.

Ah give over. Independent directors will come as part of the review. But in the meantime, and to apply the review, a board is needed now. Ross is asking for something now that cant be done now.

Conway and Mooney are there to make sure the 6 investigations do not get too close to the truth which hopefully will see Del Boy in Court on possible criminal charges and no pay-off maybe pay-back.

"Committee chairman Fergus O'Dowd TD revealed that, in advance of the hearing, he'd been contacted by Mr Conway, who had requested a private briefing, but Mr O'Dowd refused and insisted any meeting would be on the record".

Typical Del Boy move, he did this before successfully by contacting members of PAC on their private phones to prevent his appearance before them.

The media are also been kept away from EGM and AGM, more signs Del Boy is running the show from his garden.
