Sindo all out attack on Kenny today. Slowly starting to turn attention to Gilmore too. The beatification of Lenihan was well underway, but the editorials today and yesterday are something else...

Sindo will probably be cause of both of them staying, as no self respecting party could ever dance to tune of rag like Sindo and revenge of Sir Anto. Front page editorials are back !

+1

It's obvious our political class has failed in its duty but to think that the Sindo knows whats best for the country by anointing Lenihan is unacceptable. They are part of the status quo beware their guiding hand.

Kenny to stay? Bye, bye FG, hello Labour? Legitimate issue for discussion, irrespective of Sindo's agenda.

Boycott this paper and show your contempt

The Sindo needs a lesson from its readers, this is a naked attempt by the political establishment to get the Irish people to follow like sheep and make us pay all their bills.
A boycott of the paper for a week or two would force a rethink

I never buy it at all. Only see bits of it on net ! Imagine Jody Corcoran quoting Eoghan Harris in support of Richard Bruton today. We have seen it all .

Absolutely. Also they show incredible arrogance by making up these "polls" and expecting everyone to believe them (and act upon them). It basically is the same as saying to their readership that they think they're thick and will do whatever they want.

Richard Bruton prepared to help Lenihan implement crisis Budget

I keep on seeing visions of the Square in Tallaght flashing B4 my eyes!:shock::shock:
Hmmm ... if he wanted another tilt at Enda, he could justify it over this. Enda's come out Tallaght II in rather poor PR terms ("It was great for the country but terrible for FG" or something like that).

If RB wanted to force the issue on this he could argue it wasn't about personal ambition, but putting the country first.

He could also mischeviously agree with Gilmore on Metro North, and make some comments about 'local interests' to rile Reilly.
