What is Barry McElduff about?

Have SF learnt anything from the democratic process.

From selling provo tat to stunts like that of Barry McElduff - Sinn Fein needs change.

We can only hope that new leadership will change the mentality of this group.

It is a hope - can't really see it happening.

yeah - it's the Scandal of the Age.
& you're the third geezer to raise a thread on it.

I think that the Bowler-Hatted Bigot from London ........... ahem ...............Derry was the first.
you're in good company, even if you're a bit slow off the mark.

It is an interesting thought - would McElduff have done this if McGuinness was still in charge?
Would he have got off as lightly - 3 months paid holiday - if he had pulled a stunt like this -
Adams is going, McGuinness is gone, Do Mary Lou and Michelle have the authority to rein in the loopers ?

Faux outrage from unionists who daily issue sectarian threats and abuse.

Unionists the most oppressed people ever - furious at everything, ashamed of nothing.

Its not outrageous to expect politicians to behave like adults.

If they do want to have a joke it should be funny and incisive. It shouldn't come across as a symptom of learning difficulties.

I have to say, well done Barry McElduff, for reminding us all that Sinn Féin is still riddled with unreconstructed thugs and uneducated morons.

If they dared run for coalition with FF in the next election, well I am sure Barry's video will return to haunt them.

As bad as the FF/FG criminal axis are, Sinn Féin are no answer.

Shinners seem keen to play this down. They know it's cringeworthy stuff.

They also need to change their position on mass immigration and the creeping Islamification of Ireland both North and South. A United Ireland under the thumb of the Ali Selim's of the world is no Ireland at all.

In addition to discipling the likes of clowns like McElduff they need to discipline their members who engage in physical violence and criminality as part of the so-called "anti fascist movement". Several were spotted associating with the assault on Pegida Ireland in 2016 and on Britain First in Belfast last year.

As I said on another thread, his 'punishment' is half of what Peadar Toibin got for voting against the party's position on abortion.

MLMD was desperate on the News at One, today

If it is a reference to Kingsmill, then he needs dumped out of SF and punched on the face.

No clue if it is, would be amazed if someone like Barry McElduff would do that.

She was very uncomfortable - couldn't wait to get on to talking about something else. And the funny thing was Michelle O'Neill on Drivetime was much happier with the topic, and was reluctant to discuss the Assembly getting back to business and dealing with such mundane matters as the Health Service. The two wings of the party are literally at widely different stages in their political development.......or else ML is better at pretending they have moved on.
