From Mashable...

This week, web security company Webroot released a new Firefox plugin called “The Social Media Sobriety Test” with the tagline, “Nothing good happens online after 1 a.m.”

The deal is simple, download the plugin and customize the settings for a variety of social media sites — from Facebook to MySpace to Tumblr (for the bloggers among us) to e-mail accounts like Gmail or Hotmail.
So the plugin makes you do tests to check if you're sober or not. Some of the #drunktweets on their site are quite funny. I wonder if some posts here would go unposted late at night.......

Sure, isn't it half the fun?

The best conversations are had in the pub.

I'd just stay sober to ensure I can still post the nonsense I post when I'm drunk.

I suppose it'd prevent alot of Cael's posts.
I’ll never agree with Cael’s politics but I do enjoy his posts and he has a sense of humour :p

A similar concept to the plugins that prevent you from posting on p.ie, reddit and other forums and other procrastinating locations from between 9-5. So office people can work at work and students can study without bouncing their attention from URL to URL.

There are tests to make it inconvenient to access such sites should they be needed. Uninstalling the plugin is also a pain.

I haven't used them but I definitely probably should.

If they were doing it over Facebook, then perhaps!
Facebook could have saved the country. How ironic.

Or would we now be looking at:

"Brian Cowen issues bank guarantee"

"Enda Kenny Likes this".

Sean Fitzpatrick "Nice one, LOL!"

David Drumm "WTF?

+1, you should put the above post in the political humor thread
