It seems to me that a lot of Irish politicians secretly admire the Unionists up North. And would like to be part of the United Kingdom also. The acid test though is not so much, imo, the 6 counties.
More the Irish language. Same as in Scotland and Catalunya. It is the language. An teanga Gaeilge. That is what makes Ireland different to England.
Ruth Coppinger, Paul Murphy do not support An Gaeilge.

The Socialist Party doesn't have a 'leader' - it has a collective leadership in its National Committee.
OK, so who are the members of the National Committee? Does it have a Chairperson or a General Secretary?

The left have a funny attitude to the 6 counties. They are like the comfortable right who wish it could be cut off and sail away.

I disagree.
I think it's because they know their BS would be pointed out all too easily.

Why don't you take your evidence of this stealing to the Police, or to a Solicitor or finally maybe the media?

As usual you see what you want to see - yourself and our resident Shinnerbot PON are well suited.

And I said the Socialist Party is anti-nationalist (and anti-unionist) - it is a socialist party.
Yet you support Nationalism in Catalonia.

The Trots are also in favour of running every country, like the current leadership in Caracas runs Venezuela ( a country with more hydrocarbons than either Canada or Saudi Arabia, and massive forests, but which has neither diesel or toilet roll).

And then there is Ruth Coppinger's plans to run the Dell plant as a state owned enterprise.

And her eagerness to run Starbucks, and show the current management that the state can do a better job.

The Trots are a joke, desperately seeking to be accepted as grown ups.

The 'Socialist' party in the South are like most political parties there. Heart scared of Unionism and the British and cap doffing in their presence.

Paul Murphy has described the Spanish govt's attempts to prevent the Catalan referendum as "a denial of the democratic right of the people in Catalonia. " While this is the same party that says we cannot have a border poll in the six counties because "the legacy of the Troubles remains and sectarian divisions". Clearly the Trots are on the side of unionism and them having a veto through the inference of violence.

What else I suppose could you expect from a British controlled Trotskyite party ?

Is that the same Paul Murphy that stated about poor SF "couldn't be trusted regarding Irish Water"?
And then SF changed their policy!
Will poor SF now change their policy again?

This post displays total ignorance of the issues involved. However like most people living on these islands I'd be delighted if the people of the north decided to just fu3k off into their own independent non functioning state and stop bothering the rest of us with their incessant pathetic bullsh1t.

So "Solidarity" support a rich part of Spain wanting to stop its taxes from going to the poor people.

Hilarious....
