Spanish ATC on strike

Are these the same ATCs that were reported to be earning hundreds of thousands a year as public sector workers while Spanish PM only earns 100k ? These public sector unions in much of Europe are a friggin disgrace and drive up costs of running countries making them less compettivbe and absorbing excessive resources that could go to the most vulnerable in society.

Yeah, it's actually illegal for them to strike. The Army have already moved in to take over, and arrests are promised. It's causing temporary problems with flights, but the govt are playing this well.

Yes they are the highest paid air traffic controllers in Europe and ours are second as far as I know.
