What I can't get my head around is the Faustian nature of the rapprochement between the neo-unionist sindo and the 'Republican Party'.

Good idea for a thread. Its blatently obvious that there is and always has been a campaign against Enda Kenny, and he has survived so far. As Taoiseach though the stick he gets will be relentless.

In fairness though the sindo in the past few weeks has been pretty damning in terms of the government. They now realise that the people they have campaigned effectively for in the past are the worst government we have ever had.

If Kenny were from Dublin, he would be hailed as God, simple as. But thats Politics in Ireland at the moment. The media play a huge part, and swung the last election. What Kenny has to do is try and persuade the media he is not a political lightweight, somehow.
