Cowen to make statement at 7pm, Monday 22nd.

Could this be it?

It's JFK's anniversary. I wonder is the most famous Irish American ever looking down on the green isle from wherever he is!!

Lets hope this the last load of s**t we have to hear coming from his mouth.
He will go down in history as a disaster but please people dont forgrt its bertie who is the architect of all of this, he is more to blame and please keep FF out of power for at least 20 yrs or preferably forever for the sake of this country and it people.

he's going to the president.

my guess is that the parliamentary party will calculate that its better to have an election, rather than have an IMF budget and THEN an election.

With the former, FF can hope of retaining at least some seats.

I'm sure he made a statement recently - I can't remember what he said, but it sounded important. I think we should ask Dermot Ahern - he ALWAYS knows the truth.

Well at least the statement will bury the documentary on RTE 2 glorifying that bloke William with the silver spoon up his arse who loves to rip limbs off foxes for fun and is marrying some millionaire "commoner".

What a load of crap to be putting on tv during a recession.

Odds on Biffo calling an election?

1000/1?

If he doesn't FF will lose all respect for generations.

RTE like to let them pre-record.

They'll probably let him run his private stash 2007 resignation speech.

Bet he's surprised he got away with it and duped us so long.

Have your Airhorns at the ready and start lapping Merrion Square.

Think he is going to the park. Wants to wimp out of the budget. A man of no integrity head of a party with none either.

RTE reporting that he is toughing it out. Neither going to the Park or resigning. Going to say that he is going to get the budget through.
