Leo will not be happy until he has filled this country with Africans. He wasn't elected by the people and he is not true Irish.

It is good that Leo is visiting the troops, but it is not nice the way they are treated pay wise. FFg always show disdain for our Army- and praise the British army, or the Ulster army UDR.
Also some of these African countries ban Gays, so how is that aspect playing?
From d’internet ‘In December 2008, nearly a dozen Ethiopian religious figures (including the leader of Ethiopian Muslims and the heads of the Orthodox, Protestant and Catholic churches) adopted a resolution against homosexuality”

Maybe the fountain of information, Kehoe, will fill us in on his return from vacation. Hopefully he will have the ability to speak clearly.
Kehoe will be full of tales from the horn of africa. They locked out unclean ladies out of temple and other such wild stuff. They did not visit the DRC though.

There was a job there for the Irish army in troubles. They DID NOT WANT TO KNOW.Cowards really.
Army is under the control of the democratically elected government of the Republic of Ireland.
And if they were ordered in, then they would have being defeated as attacking a member of NATO who was tooled up to the teeth with men and equipment for a cold war with the commie filth would have being down right silly.
PS
don't be so short on facts next time

Leo left the female members of his group outside of a site he was visiting today because only men are allowed to enter it. That was a serious error of judgement and he should have declined to enter the place. It's all very well talking the talk about discrimination but it's only very recently in India or Pakistan were men were calling for the murder of some women who tried to enter a site that had been male only but which had been allowing women to enter. Lets be very honest here, this is all about Leo getting a vote for his bid for a seat on the UN Council. Throwing women under the bus to get it is fine with him when it suits him.

I'm sure the ladies in his group are big enough (not in a mary lou way) to take one for the team. if it's in the national interest.

Do the Ethiopian government have a vote on who is elected to the Security Council seat that Leo wants?

How is it in our national interest? How will it benefit the people of Ireland when Leo uses the Irish Rangers as pawns in his political scheming to get a seat on the Security Council? There is no credibility when someone spouts there support of women in politics and women in power but openly allows the female members of his party to be discriminated against on a foreign trip based purely on their gender.

The national Interest is the reason. Being a member of the Un top table brings influence, which I hope is exploited to the max by our government agencies to make as much money for us as is possible.
