Facebook and ****************************************** Plus Are Stuck in a Hacking War

Facebook is fighting with ad b l o cker to prevent people opting out of receiving ads, its been back and forward all week with Facebook believing it has the exclusive right to determine what people see as it is its business model.

No doubt this will be watched intently by web owners everywhere as Ad block software has allowed people to have a choice.

a d blo cker software seems like the counter culture to the big business deciding it owns everything and has a right to decide what you can see on the net.

As a non Facebook user I will watch from sidelines cheering for the little guy.

So what ******************************************er want, is online businesses who provide free access to their service, be it a website, blog, platform, etc, to sacrifice their revenue stream, so that ******************************************er can profit from their own private subscription service. This is a totally acceptable business model, however no online business has to accept this. All online businesses should install an ******************************************er blocker.

At work its company policy to have ad bl0cker on all PCs and laptops. Its a security issue - tonnes of ads are compromised and even letting them load can download malware.

Meh....AdbløckPlus are just looking to extort some moolah from The Facebook. They already have from Microsoft, Google and Taboolah to allow their "unobtrusive" ads through.

I prefer these guys https://www.ublock.org/ . Uses less memory and works the same way AdbløckPlus used to.

You're new here, aren't you?

You'll calm down soon, I'm sure.
