Now, researchers in Germany and France have quantified just how rapidly ice in Peru and throughout the Andes is disappearing. Using high-resolution data generated by satellites and a 2000 Space Shuttle mission to create three-dimensional representations of Andean glacier change over time, the researchers calculated that the area covered by glaciers in Peru shrank by nearly a third from 2000 to 2016.

Your bankster mates are eyeing up naive governments and hoping they tax the sh1t out of their working poor, it'll all be 'invested' for 'climate change' projects the banksters will control.

This is like the first settlers giving the Indians glass beads all over again 🙄
Stop feeding the troll...

This can only be good if environmental destroyers like Trump and Bolsonaro are let loose on their respective countries.

Investors have to be aware the fossil fuel economy is a Ponzi Scheme coming to the end of its tether. The trick is to get your money out in time. Blackrock, the massive hedge fund, have started.
I suppose JP Morgan, one of capitalism's main banking pillars, will be dismissed as "greenie watermelons".

The world’s largest financier of fossil fuels has warned clients that the climate crisis threatens the survival of humanity and that the planet is on an unsustainable trajectory, according to a leaked document.

The JP Morgan report on the economic risks of human-caused global heating said climate policy had to change or else the world faced irreversible consequences.
The study implicitly condemns the US bank’s own investment strategy and highlights growing concerns among major Wall Street institutions about the financial and reputational risks of continued funding of carbon-intensive industries, such as oil and gas.
JP Morgan has provided $75bn (£61bn) in financial services to the companies most aggressively expanding in sectors such as fracking and Arctic oil and gas exploration since the Paris agreement, according to analysis compiled for the Guardian last year.

Thats right, the big monied interests are greedily eyeing up all the filthy lucre being 'realised' by governments to 'fight global warming...or whatever' 🙄

They see the possibilities and they want in on the frenzy.

Hey, I know, why not make one of the biggest bankers around a...'climate tzar' 🙄

The loss of ice poses a threat to water supplies...
Claiming that receding glaciers threaten water supplies is just one of the many lies that the Climate Cult spews out on a daily basis. The IPCC tells us that in a future warmer world there will be more precipitation. That includes the west coast of South America. The water supply there and most places is a function of precipitation and not a function of whether or not there's a glacier in the water shed.

If Eamon Ryan gets into the next government - they want to reduce emmissions by 7% a year. So say goodbye to oversees tourism, manufacturing etc. and hello to mass energy poverty, unemployment and general economic meltdown

#Lancet the world's Premier #Science source says:

"Over 50% of #Scientific literature may simply be untrue.
A lot of what is published is incorrect. The bad news is that nobody is ready to take the first step to clean up the system."

Editor of The Lancet "Scientists sculpt data to fit their preferred theory of the world. Were in a chilling state where severe restrictions on freedom of speech are placed on anyone on the government’s payroll. Flagrant conflicts of interest together with an obsession for pursuing fashionable trends.

Afflicted by studies with small sample sizes, tiny effects, invalid exploratory analyses, science has taken a turn towards darkness. The endemicity of bad research behaviour is alarming. scientists too often sculpt data to fit their preferred theory of the world.

They retrofit hypotheses to fit their data.
Universities are in a perpetual struggle for money & talent,
several high-profile errors in particle physics &
The bad news is that nobody is ready to take the first step to clean up the system."

Why not ask Donald? He's a leading scientist and major intelligence, according to him.
