Try it again Cruimh. Should be working now.
Hopefully he will mention millions of pounds spent on securing the State from the Provos and their Loyalist killer sidekicks which could have been spent building the health, education and housing services

It's an interesting discussion that focuses on issues such as civil liberties, resentment of northern nationalists and northern refugees in towns such as Dundalk and a strong partitionist sentiment that built up among sections of southern society.

And the refugee camps in the South in the 70's..

How our Government colluded with a foreign Government to cover up the worst bombing atrocity in the State prior to the Omagh bombing..

How a section of the largest party in the State were involved in starting up the Provos..

How many civil liberties of Irish citizens were trampled on..

How the Heavy Gang dealt with "subversives"....

There's a hell of a lot to talk about all right...

Plus.. ask most of the soldiers and Gardai who were on border duty.. they loved it.. they knew that under Green Book rules they were very very unlikely to be attacked on the border.. and the overtime was soft out..

The Irish Government had no need to "secure the border" against the RA.. and if they were attacked by Loyalists, they could have complained to the Loyalists bosses.. their counterparts in London

The effects of the SF/IRA "struggle" are still felt in the South as the Mongrel offspring of SF/IRA the dissos continue where the Provos left off with extortion rackets robberies and smuggling.

Main perpetrators of violence and murder against nationalists over the last 40 odd years were the sf/ira/inla cabal and their offspring the dissos.

Why are you dissecting Irish history and being selective? The British and unionist cohorts were responsible for more carnage, death and brutality in Ireland than all Irish republicans combined

You have turned into a parody of yourself. Sad!

If you took the time to listen to people. Understand where they came from, what framed them, how they see the world, howi it changed them and how they want to move forward , then you might educate yourself, you might understand and you might get you own opinions across. But you refuse. Pity! You lose. have a look at whack jobs like ex Celt . Thats were you are at right now. A lunatic like him. Isolated and no one even answers his posts and he hangs on like a kid hanging on to the big boys playing footall. A sad wee pitiful lonely figure. If that's your goal, well you've reached it. . Those of us with expansive minds move on . Join in I say.

Do you include Gilmore and his stickie mates in the cabinet amongst your list of perpetrators?

And what about those who refused employment and housing to Irish people in the hope of driving them out of their own Country?
