Enda really has to go! He's just not cutting it with the electorate.
Surely those tds/senators who supported him will now see sense?

You always can tell FF are in trouble when the talk is of getting rid of the leader of FG.

I expect RTE to ramp up talk of another heave against Enda now.

Would you guys get real. Even when FG were at 38% you wanted Enda to go!

FG need to get the head down and work hard. The last time they paid attention to polls it was disasterous and devisive.

To be perfectly honest if another politician in FG could replace Enda and do a better job, such a politician would already be outshining Enda, whose charisma is non-existant. But is there any such dashing figure within the FG ranks? No. No there is not. If there were, everyone would already know their name and it would not be some reheat of a backbencher or another dynastic TD with a cheap PR paint job to make them look like something new. Sadly reheats, party line hacks and 2nd generation TDs are all thats on offer - and that is why no one gives a feck about FG.

If Enda Kenny truly cares about Ireland's future then he should step down as leader of FG immediately.

If, he continues as leader, we will end up with a coalition government either dominated by Labour and the public sector unions. Or worse yet, a combination of FF/Lab.

Enda's actions so far, show only self interest and a personal desire for power.

I'm waiting to be proved wrong.

But if FG can't make hay in this weather when will they? The longer Labour have to organise the stronger they will be! Kenny is seen as a weak leader even by a large junk of his party so can the public have faith in him!

So, you are saying its all about Charisma????

Hmmmm when was the last time the Irish voted for a politician who had Charisma, who could talk for hours and say nothing, who had enough charm to distract voters from his actions......BERTIE!

The story about Biffo's bender in Mt. Falcon is devastating. No word about it on main media yet.

FG really need to wake up, if there is an an earky GE as looks increasingly likely they will probably be fighting with Labour and not FF for largest party. At least Bruton would have had no problem exposing Labours populism. Its not working for Enda, its black and white.

Enda Kenny is a failure as leader of FG. It couldn't be spelt out more clearly if it was written in 50 foot high neon letters. He is only slightly more popular than Cowen, a man who played a large part in destroying the country. Only 53% of FG voters select him as Taoiseach. Thats FG voters. How much clearer can it get.

And I'm someone who would tend towards FG, and thinks FF should never be in government again.

any chance of a link or a quick summary?

I can not get a link, I feel someone may may be able to scan it in. It happened on July 17th.last. he was in a pub in Ballina on the quay, Kanes, had three pints there. Then went to Mt. Falcon at 7pm, was drinking there until 5 a.m, staff had to carry him up to his room and he slid on to his bed. He gave his usual quota of songs and gate crased a hen party in the same place. It was confirmed by hotel staff it seems. Get the Sun.

I wonder will Gerry Adams have to go following this poll ?

This is just the latest in a series of awful polls for Kenny. The only difference is that some people in FG believed that he had turned the corner after seeing off the heave. He hasn't. There are no signs that Kenny is prepared to do the right thing by the country or by the party. He's simply too stupid to see the writing on the wall and the deadbeats that populate the FG front bench are too feeble to move him.

In reality, it doesn't matter about Kenny.

1) No party is likely to ever get an overall majority again.

2) If you accept that, then the only debate is how many seats FG will get over Labour.

3) It's safe to say that FG will have more seats than Labour at the next GE, and will be the senior partner in government.

4) By getting rid of Kenny, who do you replace him with ? Bruton has little more personality that Kenny, if at all. Noonan ? Eh no. Reilly ? Perhaps. Regardless, for the pain that would ensue, there is no guarantee that it would deliver many more seats that they can already expect to get, even with Kenny.

As a previous poster said, FG would be better off getting the head down and just working harder.
